Meet … uh, This Guy. He just sank the putt of the year.
We don’t have a lot of information about him. He’s not in a golf boy band, he’s not taking sides in the oncoming war between golf pants and shorts and he hasn’t done battle with any three-legged alligators. He’s just a man skilled enough to sink a multi-direction putt from the top of a staircase on somebody else’s time.

If that’s not search engine optimization, I don’t know what is. Meet Gareth Maybin, 443rd-in-the-world golf professional out of Northern Ireland, ranked a bright, shiny #1 on whatever chart determines the best trick shot videos. You know that old clip of Tiger Woods wedge-juggling that everybody went crazy for? It might as well be VHS footage of you having a birthday party at Putt-Putt when you were five.
I’m overstating it a little, but damn, Maybin’s hand-eye coordination is ridiculous. Highlights include him sinking a putt over his shoulders (seriously), hitting a falling ball that he’s just spit out of his mouth and sniping a soda can off his friend’s head. It’s ridiculous. Golf should just be this. Watch it, love it, show it to people.

In what could very well end up being a commercial for Verizon (our calls always get through), here’s a guy trying to kick a soccer goal, bricks it off the post and ends up hitting FOUR goal posts in total. If you’re like, “but Brandon, the front of a goal only has three posts, the two on the sides and the one across the top,” you are absolutely correct. I hope they’re playing Soccer HORSE. Trick shot videos, this is your requiem.
TLS Takes a trip to Destin Florida and rides the “FlyBoard” to make a trick shot! Fun and easy to learn, and definitely fun for videos!
If you can’t tell from the image, a FlyBoard is a water-propelled device that allows you to float above the ocean like The Green Goblin, and if you’re in the business of making trickshot videos, a basketball is the perfect Goblin Bomb. These guys took a bunch of basketball equipment out to the beach and taped themselves shooting jumpshots from the deck of a space age flying device, and the results are as beautiful as they are unnecessary.

I went to my first (and last, technically) New Orleans Hornets game on Tuesday, and one of the highlights was watching Hugo sink a no-look, behind-the-back shot from half court. That was then immediately topped by THIS lady, who has gone viral with the ultimate combination of search terms: Cheerleader Half Court Trick Shot. Okay, maybe if I was going for “ultimate” I’d work “video” and “boobs” in there, but you get the idea. (via IASID)
