Are we havin’ fun yet?

If you don’t follow golf, Australian golfer Adam Scott won The Masters after a clutch playoff putt and is now the protagonist of one of the greatest sports photos ever. If you don’t follow NBC comedy, Adam Scott (no relation) is one of the stars of the best — or, at least, the nicest — shows on television, ‘Parks and Recreation.’ You may also remember him from ‘Party Down,’ or from his run as the Fonzie of ‘Boy Meets World.’

They are not the same dude, but what the Internet presupposes is, maybe they are?

I may or may not have a Google news alert set for “Paulina Gretzky wearing tank tops in public”, but it worked in my favor today because Wayne Gretzky’s pride and joy is currently running around Augusta National supporting her boyfriend Dustin Johnson. I have no clue where he currently stands, but if I were him I’d never be standing again.

Hit it.

Anywho, that was my strange, unrelated way of talking about the new Tumblr account that will be almost as hot as Paulina this weekend, “Waldo at the Masters”, which is photoshopped pictures of America’s favorite Hide N Seek champ hanging out in the gallery at Augusta National. There’s not much else to it, and there doesn’t have to be. I love Waldo and I love the Masters tournament, so unless someone finds a way to incorporate Taco Bell’s Volcano Tacos, I’m pretty confident that this is going to be my favorite thing of this weekend.

Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki are in love, and they aren’t afraid to show it.

Rory McIlroy, the world number two and one of the favourites to claim the Green Jacket at Augusta this week, employed a new caddie yesterday.

During the traditional par-three competition on the eve of the Masters, McIlroy’s tennis star girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki carried his clubs around the course. (via The Independent)

I guess the only problem with showing how much they’re in love is that they’re both super f**king awkward, a trait best seen in this “how’s it goin’” puff interview shared by the fine folks at Reddit. Ricky Gervais couldn’t have written more awkward responses for them.

Back in January, when he was still just a golfer with no green jacket in his closet, Bubba Watson attended a huge car show and auction in Scottsdale, Arizona – or Snottsdale as my dad calls it – and he ended up leaving with his wallet $110,000 lighter. Watson purchased the original Dukes of Hazzard General Lee car that was used in the show’s pilot episode. The famous Dodge Charger was banged up and discarded, but eventually a collector found it and completely restored it, leading to Watson’s purchase.

As Watson was fending off Louis Oosthuizen in a sudden death playoff before winning his first ever PGA major at the Masters, my friend and I were joking that he should totally do donuts on the green at 18 if he won. Of course he wouldn’t, but a boy can dream. That’s why Watson’s Tweet yesterday with the above image of him jumping the General Lee over the lawn outside the clubhouse at Augusta was good enough.

Alas, Watson only Tweeted the image because he’s been taking criticism for owning and driving a car that has a confederate flag on the top. I guess that comes with the territory when you spend 6 figures on something that people have as much contempt for as a swastika, so he should probably get used to defending his ride.

This 40-year old guy was arrested at the Masters on Sunday. See if you can guess what for!

He didn’t attack anyone or cause a disturbance during the event. He didn’t even try to throw hot dogs at Tiger Woods. No, this perfectly sober gent was arrested for disobeying the guard ropes and trying to scoop up a sand trap with his red Solo cup.

Richmond County sheriff’s Capt. Scott Gay said Clayton Price Baker, of Ohio, slipped under the ropes following the tournament and attempted to put the sand in his cup.

After a short foot chase by Augusta National security and sheriff’s deputies, Baker was apprehended and charged with disorderly conduct.

Gay said Baker, who was drinking heavily at the time of the incident, was unsuccessful at getting any of the sand in his cup.

I’ve heard worse plans. People pay two-hundred bucks for sh*t like that in SkyMall. And I know the last sentence is supposed to suggest that he was arrested before he got to the sand trap, but I like to imagine the sadder scenario wherein he knelt in the sand for like twenty minutes, scooping up piles of it with his hands and never being able to hold onto it long enough to get it into the cup like some Hellbound physical challenge on ‘Double Dare’.

Advice for next year: skip the Masters and go get drunk on the beach.
