The Swiss team nearly defeated Sweden in a hockey friendly yesterday, but Sweden scored a power play equalizer with 14 seconds in regulation to set the table for a shootout (after an overtime period, I would assume, although I don’t care enough to actually look that up).
And that’s when 2007 Oilers draftee Linus Omark (an Irish guy?) stole the show with this f-cking excellent shootout goal that helped propel the Swedes to a meaningless victory. Anything that reminds me of the changeup “Hadouken!” from Street Fighter is okay in my book.*
