It’s been a while since we’ve heard from former NFL spokesperson and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Marisa Miller, because she decided to get pregnant and practically vanish into thin air. At one point I was even starting to wonder if we’d ever hear from her again, because you know how some girls get when they become moms and all they want to do is spend their days posting pictures of their kids on Facebook. Hell, Miller never even fulfilled her obligation as a famous woman with her own “Here’s me naked and pregnant because EDGY!” magazine cover.

That is, until now. Miller did the whole naked pregnant thing that Demi Moore made famous 40 or 50 years ago for the latest issue of Allure magazine, and according to her coinciding interview, she’s all preggers and proud.

New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter is currently enjoying one of his better seasons of the last few years, with a .312 batting average that almost mirrors his career output. Sure, his RBI may be down, but for a 38-year old who some people were calling washed up just two seasons ago, it must be nice for Yankees fans and people who have simply appreciated Captain Clutch’s career to watch him put together one last strong run to help his franchise win No. 28.

So what’s the secret to Jeter’s twilight success? Well, this may shock you, but it could simply be the rejuvenating powers of dating a 22-year old super model. I’ve been told that’s actually better than stem cells. The New York Post has the incredibly important breaking news of Jeter’s new fling with Ralph Lauren model Hannah Davis, and somewhere Wilmer Valderrama is in the on-deck circle for sloppy seconds.

“They were flirting, having a great time, and were sitting close together,” says a witness who saw them at Meatpacking hotspot Double Seven for the last Avenue A Soundcheck bash of the summer.

I don’t care if I’m 90 and living my final days in a run-down nursing home, cut off from the only people I’ve ever loved, “Meatpacking” will always make me giggle.

“They are an item on the quiet,” says another source. “Derek and Hannah left separately, but she met up with him again later.”

Added the source, “I know this because I live in a trash can outside of Jeter’s penthouse building. Sure, it’s pricey at $8,000 for 2-sq. ft. but at least it’s rent controlled.”

This news probably won’t do much to stop the tailspin of Jeter’s ex-girlfriend Minka Kelly, who was rumored to have an under-18 sex tape lost in pervy hands while she was allegedly bouncing back and forth between Fez and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine. Ugh, I feel filthy just writing that sentence. Either way, introduce yourself to Hannah Davis after the jump.

"Oh, am I attractive? I hadn't noticed."

Back in January, I offered my brilliant wisdom and relationship insight to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady as his 31-year old wife, Gisele Bundchen, is believed to be on track to become the world’s first billionaire supermodel thanks to her new underwear line. But hot on her heels is 26-year old supermodel Bar Refaeli, who has also launched her new underwear line, under.me, which is a totally super fantastic name.

Refaeli and Co. have released their first commercial for her simple cotton underwear line, and I’m already in line to buy 600 pairs. Seriously, I’m camped outside of my local mall right now even though it’s already open, mainly because they won’t let me back in until I agree to wear pants. Let it be known that Bar Refaeli playing tennis in her underwear is a fantastic way to sell anything.

SI’s Jimmy Traina was nice enough to link to our Kate Upton Cheeseburger-stravaganza in this morning’s Hot Clicks. This caused three things to happen:

1. Happy clapping
2. A statistically-unnecessary-but-socially-correct linkback (enjoy those hits, Monster Sports Conglomerate)
3. Me watching the video of Kate’s Beach Bunny 2012 swimwear shoot provided by the HotClicks, googling “Kate Upton” for twenty minutes and discovering the rest of the shoot we previewed on a Saturday back in January.

So at the risk of burying you in barely-related-to-sports Kate Upton posts, here are nearly two dozen shots from the Beach Bunny “Deep Blue” campaign, a video of Kate in motion to stave off those “meh, photoshop’d” trolls, and a preview of her appearance in this year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

Whaddya mean I’m probably the thousandth dweeb to use that tired old reference on the tubes since Rio was chosen as the site for the 2016 Olympics? Most of you young whippersnappers probably don’t even know who Duran Duran is, let alone have any knowledge of their sonic stylings from the 1980s. For instance, did you know that Duran Duran continues to be the preeminent band that uses the same word twice in their name? That’s right. Screw those Tora Tora and Talk Talk dorks. And what in the hell can the Yeah Yeah Yeahs be thinking? Duran Duran is where it’s at, my friends.

Where was I? Oh yeah, I thought for the first day of my second weekend keeping watch over With Leather, I would ease into the day like an old man into a nice warm bath. Nothing too thought-provoking, nothing too serious. Don’t worry, my dissertation regarding the BCS and its role in our country’s GNP will be coming later – stay tuned.

Moving on, apparently as Americans, we are supposed to feel discouraged and heartbroken about Chicago losing out on their Olympic bid. I’m sorry, but that is completely xenophobic and short-sighted. The Olympics are supposed to be a celebration of every nation’s inclusion in the global community, so instead of moping around feeling sorry for ourselves, how about we give Rio (and by extension, Brazil) their due credit and recognize the amazing country that Brazil is and all of the wonderful things the nation has contributed to the world?

For instance, did you know that Rio de Janeiro means “Rio of Janeiro” in Portuguese? Interesting, huh?
