While all those other European national teams are busy with Euro 2008, English soccer stars continue with their rigorous off-season of getting tan.  Liverpool's god of the pitch Stephen Gerrard is on vacation in Miami with wife Alex Curran-Gerrard, who worships his credit cards.  It's good to see Stephen still asserting himself with his wife, even if he IS using one of my textbook moves. Girls like it when you grab their ass and make a big fart noise.  Especially girls lying next to muscular dudes with cauliflower ear.  Seriously, try it sometime.  You'll get so much tail, dude.

Last night Alex Curran was at home with a friend when four masked burglars entered the house. The police are calling it a “confrontational burglary” but won’t confirm what exactly the nature of the confrontation was…

Alex recently revealed to Closer magazine that she had bought Steven a £10,000 Cartier watch for Christmas. We’re assuming it’s one of the many things taken. In the last year, many Premier League players have been targeted by thieves – Dirk Kuyt was robbed whilst in Holland, and Daniel Agger, Peter Crouch and Pepe Reina have all had their hard earned ish taken, usually when they are playing away.

Obviously this is a direct result of Stephen Gerrard's thug past.  You go around flashing your wealth and associating with the wrong people in England, and people are going to break into your house.  Did the Gerrards deserve to be robbed?  Probably not.  But am I surprised it happened?  Not in the least.
