It’s been a while since I’ve checked in on Houston rapper Riff Raff, and this is hardly breaking news, but every once in a while it’s fun to stare at a warehouse fire in complete awe. If you’re unfamiliar with Mr. Raff, he got his start on the MTV dating reality series “From G’s to Gents”. Since then, he’s become quite the YouTube star, with his freestyle rap videos racking up tens of thousands of hits. Honestly, I can only wonder, “WHY???”

But some people love the guy, as evidenced by those YouTube hits, Soulja Boy’s eagerness to sign Mr. Raff to his label, his unusual friendship with Simon Rex and Andy Milonakis, and the fact that James Franco will emulate his style and look in the film Spring Breakers. And the reason I bring him up today is because someone recently mentioned one of videos on Twitter and, just like the last time I looked this clown up, I found myself watching all of his videos again.

One of Riff Raff’s common themes appears to be sports references, like his songs “Tiger Woods” (featuring Justin Bieber’s more punchable doppelganger) and “Larry Bird“. But I prefer this video for his song “Jose Conseco” the most, both as an anthem for hater-blocking and because he misspelled our favorite Twitter troll’s name.

Before today, my only knowledge of the Shrine Circus is that they put out buy-one-get-one-free coupons at every local grocery store, charge you five dollars to park, reveal at the gate that each individual ticket is forty dollars and you can’t get a refund on parking.

Thankfully, this video of cyclist Josh Headford crashing 30 feet to the ground at The Dow Event Center during a jump on Sunday has given me a new talking point: how funny it is when a circus ringmaster has to say “this is serious, get help” but can’t stop talking in his ringmaster voice. Some-bod-ay SCREEEEEAM!

According to Bob’s Blitz, Hedford broke his shoulder blade, femur, wrist and elbow. His son is already in the process of becoming the new Robin.

This is a funny hype song written and produced for UGA by some students: for the students, fans, faculty, and TEAM. All put together in a little over 1 day, just getting a little fun and excitement going on campus. O and yea, haha we’re ready to win the SEC! Let’s Go.

At what point in that “1 day” did the students go, “hey, let’s get that guy who looks like David Wooderson from Dazed And Confused to start us off, he looks like the rapping type”. And then at what point did they follow that with, “well, we need people in the video who have listened to rap music before, who goes to college and knows about rap music? 19 YEAR OLD WHITE GIRLS!” That’s when I stop wondering, because the next question would be, “whose idea was it to have the black midget in Ray Bans refer to UGA beating LSU as a ‘bust in the mouth upset’, because seriously, you guys know ‘bust in your mouth’ doesn’t mean punching anymore even if you make punching motions, right”.
