If you needed any sort of affirmation that “being yourself” can not only be a good thing, but a wonderful thing, look at Japan. Everything that comes out of that country is wonderful, with the exception of trace amounts of radiation being detected on our west coast. Okay sure, the Japanese can’t jettison a nuclear core worth a damn, but they make lingerie ads with the best of them. I won’t even try to sell this as sports-related, mainly because you’ve probably stopped reading already. Who could blame you?

Yes, this song is older than most of you reading this site but, presumably, a lot more gay. It helps to be one of 32 head coaches in the NFL, surrounded by women that would rather take photos of you dancing around in your ugly-assed shirt than offer up a beejer. Come on, Wade. You’d think you could close on at least one of those honeys.

By the way, the Cowboys are now 1-4 after losing to the Vikings yesterday. That’s good enough for last in the NFC East and for laughing at Cowboys fans through Halloween. Tony Romo (220 yds, 3 TDs, 2 picks) is shaping up to be the bipolar failure that most of us knew that he could be. He’s like the white Jeff Blake, but with a better social life. U.S. Olympic pole vaulter April Steiner posted this video on YouTube of her undulating, gyrating and altogether dancifying as a response to a similar routine posted by teammate Stacy Dragila a few months before. What has sparked this vicious and rhythmic (for white girls) dispute? Judging from the videos, it's the work of one enabling female coach who laughs a little too much and a little too shrilly. Perhaps only because she knows the other end of this conflict leads to the athletes impaling each other with their poles. Violently, to be clear. She's just intent on debunking the charges of lesbianism in female coaching as emphatically as possible.
