You could probably convince me that sending out armored cops on horseback and in riot gear is any better for a school’s image than a couple of bad apples overturning cars or setting couches on fire. But my paranoia over civil liberties infringement pales in comparison to my disdain for those people, that sect of college-aged white kids that tries to threaten a lawsuit from every cop that lays a hand on them.
Notice I didn’t say “students,” unlike our friends at KENS in San Antonio, who is just sure that every one of those young people is enrolled in classes at the College Park campus.
