This is Ben Roethlisberger posing with a handful of Milledgeville’s Finest. The gentleman to Big Ben’s immediate right has been identified as Sgt. Jerry Blash, who would field the complaint of sexual assault from that 20-year-old about one after this photo was taken. Of course, the po-po snapped into defense mode.

Police Chief Woodrow Blue said he was not troubled by the photographs, adding that his officers handled the case correctly from the onset. “The photographs did not and have not affected the investigation at all,” said Blue.

And while Blash, an eight-year veteran of the Milledgeville Police Department, was the officer approached by the alleged victim and the officer who wrote the incident report, Blue said Blash had little involvement in the subsequent investigation. –Union-Recorder.

Obviously, the Sarge should have traveled back in time after the complaint and told his past self not to take the picture. Seriously, what the hell is the guy supposed to do? He lives in Milledgeville, Georgia. Big Ben is probably the biggest celebrity he’ll see in the next ten years. Rick Lee is an Australian cycling coach who is charged with raping a 15-year-old girl in Pennsylvania. Well, rape, plus a list of charges that reads like my last weekend in Las Vegas:

Lee is charged with rape, statutory rape, burglary, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and indecent exposure.

Interestingly, Lee’s attorney unveiled some interesting evidence about the victim:

During cross examination, she admitted to setting up [an] on-line profile where she claimed to be 18, a nurse as well as a student at Penn State University studying to be a brain surgeon.

Ah, finally I have an answer to the riddle that I couldn’t solve!  “What’s sexier than an 18-year-old undergrad nurse?” A 15-year-old pretending to be one.

Everyone knows that rape and Duke University are two great tastes that go great together.  So it should be no surprise that top soccer recruit Ashley Rape will be joining the Blue Devils this fall.  The Slanch Report says:

On the field, Rape has been a member of the Under-15, Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 National Teams and was a selection for Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd” this past February.

Yes, but I think the question everyone wants to know is, Who's going to date Rape?  Or send her a 40-pound box of rape?  Or take her to the rape fields?

On a serious note, that really is an unfortunate name.  Blame immigration officials at Ellis Island, who couldn't pronounce her ancestors' traditional surname, Sexualassault.
