Since When Does Ben Roethlisberger Ask Girls To Call Him?

Written by Brandon Stroud / 08.21.12

pittsburgh-steelers-call-me-maybeIt’s been a busy off-season for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger spoke out in favor of Tim Tebow, Wiz Khalifa offered up a lazy remix as an inspiring new anthem and most of the team got murdered by Bane. No, not Bane Kiffin, the regular one. It’s also been a busy off-season for With Leather, muddling through nearly three months of constant, incessant ‘Call Me Maybe’ covers.

Now those off-seasons come together with the Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp Carly Rae Jepson tribute video you’ve been waiting for. It’s mostly just training camp highlights (and some Make-A-Wish stuff) with Steelers players holding telephones sprinkled throughout, but YouTube is convinced that this is certifiable proof that Pittsburgh is horrible at football and will never win a game again.

Example:

So what do you think? Is this video a sports curse for gay jerks, or football players briefly opening a port-a-potty door for a team PR guy and using the remaining 99.9999% of their time to practice? The first one sounds way more reasonable.

And Now To Help You Forget About The Miami Heat Blowjob Party, Here’s Christians

Written by Brandon Stroud / 08.13.12

Tim Tebow Bible Study

In what might be the exact opposite of a bunch of basketball fans traveling across the country to get blowjobs from porn stars, here’s a picture of two nice young ladies at the New York Jets training camp who drove seven hours with personalized signs to get a hug from way back back-up quarterback Tim Tebow. Their sign, in case you’re allergic to magic marker, reads: “Tim, you put the STUD in Bible study”. No word on whether or not they got hugs, but I’m pretty sure even Tebow is sick of this by now.

“The STUD in Bible study” is a pretty slick play on words, so if you’re planning to attend Jets camp with religious-themed signage, you’re not longer allowed to use it. Instead, use one of these:

Cro Has Serious Baby Momma Drama

Written by Ryan Walsh / 08.19.10

These Spiderman stretches help my boys swim so much faster.

I can only imagine that the life of an NFL Pro Bowler is chock full of baby crazy hoochies. Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie filled us in on the consequences of unprotected sex with numerous said hoochies on last night’s episode of Hard Knocks. Cro fielded hard hitting questions from HBO producers like “What are your children’s names, and how old are they?” Cro has eight kids in total, four of whom are three years old. His seed had produced one more child than retired quarterback Kurt Warner, and one less than incarcerated running back Travis Henry.

Some NFL experts (sexperts?) say Cromartie was brought to New York to be a substitute for the missing-in-action Darrelle Revis, but Rex Ryan was actually more impressed by his pussytubing abilities than anything else. Video after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

LeGarrette Blount’s Punch Out v2.0

Written by Ryan Walsh / 08.19.10

Oregon “alum” LeGarrette Blount is more famous for punching out a Boise State football player than anything he’s ever done on the football field. Apparently the Titan’s undrafted free agent has continued training for his MMA future, the rookie running back punched a teammate in the helmet, which probably hurt his hand more than the other guy’s head.

The rookie running back capped a feisty night practice for the Tennessee Titans with a short punch to the helmet of defensive end Eric Bakhtiari a few moments after having his own helmet ripped off for the second time in as many plays.Blount had just returned to the Titans on Wednesday night after being excused since Sunday for personal reasons. He was carrying the ball in a drill near the goal line when his helmet came off, and he kept his feet moving toward the end zone.

The play ended with some pushing and shoving, and then Blount threw a right into Bakhtiari’s facemask. Blount quickly talked to coach Jeff Fisher before leaving the field. “He apologized, and I said he didn’t have to apologize,” Fisher said. “It’s football. It’s training camp.”

As we learned from Rex Ryan on last night’s Hard Knocks, fights are an integral part of training camp. Nothing shows coaches you have the ‘want to’ needed to play in the NFL like punching a guy in the skull. Video after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »
