Kristin Cavallari Says Cutler Faked It, Will Cut You If You Said She Said That

"Jay Cutler faked it" - Kristin Cavallari

We here at With Leather have been torn up about the broken engagement of Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler, but according to reports from Hollywood Life the whirlwind romance of a reality television teenager and a hapless, emo quarterback might’ve not been the image of Camelot it seemed. Apparently Kristin wore the capri pants in the relationship, emotionally abusing Jay to the point of accusing him of faking his injury during the Chicago Bears 21-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers in last season’s NFC Championship Game. I mean, so did everybody else, but come on, you’re supposed to be his girlfriend.

From the report, via what I can only assume to be extremely reputable sources:

So how was his relationship with former fiancee Kristin? “Kristin would call Jay a loser and a p**sy, and she’d scream it at him so everyone could hear. They would have fights about Jay being too conceited. They would also argue over how mean he was to people. She would make a point of saying hello to people in the hall, just to piss him off,” our insider laughingly tells us.

In January, they got into a big blow-out argument after Jay injured his knees during the NFL playoffs. He was diagnosed with a MCL sprain. “Kristin called Jay out, saying she thought he was faking the injury and told him he was worthless.”

Of course, Cavallari was quick to jump on Twitter and defend herself.

Notice how she doesn’t mention the “worthless” or “loser” or “p**sy” parts. It’s like when Princess Leia calls Han Solo a stuck up, half-witted, scruffy-looking Nerf herder and he responds with “Who’s scruffy-looking?”

I’m not sure if throwing footballs to the wrong team counts as “herding Nerf”, but I think the comparison stands.

Fired Car Salesman Has A New Job?

Written by Ashley Burns / 01.26.11

After every news outlet on the planet reported that John “Jeff” Stone had been fired from Webb Chevrolet in Oak Lawn, Illinois on Monday because he wore a Green Bay Packers tie to work, it was only a matter of time before a rival car dealership offered him a job. Chevrolet of Homewood (Chicago) received heavy call volume from Packers fans claiming they would purchase cars from that dealership if they would hire Stone, so owner Guy Cesario jumped right on it. And of course Stone said… eh, maybe.

This isn’t going to get milked for all its worth, is it AOL Jobs?

Stone is not jumping into anything yet, however. He says he’s taking his time to make his next professional move, and wants to meet with Cesario in person first. It might be a good thing to wait, as he could need a little extra vacation time. Rumor has it there’s an all-expenses paid trip to Dallas and prime Super Bowl tickets in his future — in the Packers section, of course.

OF COURSE! Haha, it’s funny how things work out.

Maurice Jones-Drew Received Death Threats

Written by JOSH Z / 01.25.11

Jacksonville Jaguars Maurice Jones Drew was one of a smattering of NFL stars that took to Twitter on Sunday to question the intestinal fortitude of Jay Cutler. For his trouble, MJD received death threats from Bears fans, to which MJD replied, “I was just playin’, yo.”

“I never attacked him, called him soft or a sore loser,” Jones-Drew in a telephone interview Monday. “I never questioned his toughness. I think people took my joke out of context. I was taking at shot at Florida fans.”[..]

Bears fans turned it on Jones-Drew, with many pointing out that he missed the final two games of the season even though the Jaguars were in the AFC postseason hunt. Others said they hope he blows out his knee this season.

Jones-Drew played all season with torn meniscus in his left knee, saying there were days when he would wake up and not be able to walk. He learned the severity of the injury during training camp — he basically had bone scraping against bone — but tried to keep it hidden because he didn’t want opponents taking shots at his knee.

–AP, via Press Coverage.

Just joking? I don’t buy that at all, but I’m in favor of whatever keeps the crazies at bay.

The speculation on Cutler’s health was fueled by the lack of any announcement of injury during the broadcast, and by the fact that Cutler was able to stand upright on the sideline while Todd Collins fluttered in the wind. Okay, so the jury’s still out on whether Cutler’s a huge p#ssy. So what? If we can jump to conclusions about whether or not an NFL star raped a woman, assaults a bouncer at a strip club, shoots his unborn child, incurs a DUI charge or severs the head of his ex-wife’s alleged lover, why are we getting all worked up over a damn knee?

Jay Cutler Isn’t Very Popular

Written by Ashley Burns / 01.24.11

As Chicago Bears fans and even current NFL players have ripped QB Jay Cutler for having no heart in the Bears’ 21-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship, it has been revealed that J-Cutty actually tore sprained his MCL yesterday and that’s why he couldn’t return to the game. But it didn’t help that he was walking around, standing upright and riding the stationary bike, leading many fans to think he was simply being a sissy little girl and a quitter. While medical reports (and Cutler’s teammates) are now telling us the real story, we certainly can’t take back the reactions from yesterday.

Reports that Bears fans were burning Cutler jerseys in the parking lot started hitting Twitter almost immediately after the game and sure enough there are videos of fans expressing their displeasure with J-Cutty by dousing his jersey with gasoline. However, I think it’s a bit juvenile for people to burn Cutler’s jerseys, especially when there are so many Chad Henne jerseys that should be destroyed first.

Video after the jump…
