In yesterday’s Top Sports Moments of 2011 feature, I pointed out that New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter has already proven time and again that he does relationships right. While other athletes have been taken to the cleaners by their wives in divorces because of infidelities, Jeter just brings home whichever girl or girls he wants, does his thing and then sends them home with an autographed ball in the morning. And you would think that a guy as wealthy and smart as Michael Jordan would have caught on to that logic by now, but you’d be wrong.

Jordan proposed to his girlfriend of 3 years Yvette Prieto sometime around Christmas, and that’s a good thing if you’re into that whole “love” idea. But I’m a capitalist, and I know that if I had already lost $186 million in my first divorce (Jordan was married to his first wife Juanita for 18 years before they divorced in 2007), I wouldn’t be so quick to get married again, especially when I’m now worth billions and own a NBA franchise.

I know, I’m playing the role of Scrooge here, and I should be happy for Air Jordan that he found love again, this time with a smoking hot Cuban model. But I just can’t help but think that somewhere Kobe Bryant is reading this post and whispering, “You gotta be f*cking kidding me.”

One of the hosts of NBC’s “The Voice” and the lead singer of Maroon 5, Adam Levine has a tendency to come off a little douchey at times, which is why he’s less than popular within the Uproxx hallways. Alas, these sites aren’t written by teenage girls merely to attract them and Levine is a popular enough celebrity to earn membership into the elite celebrity brotherhood of Los Angeles Lakers fans. Funny, he seems more like a Golden State guy.

Regardless, Levine was at the Staples Center on Christmas Day to watch the Lakers eventually choke away a late 7-point lead to Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls, but I can’t imagine he was too broken up over it. Sitting next to Levine was his Sports Illustrated swimsuit model girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna, and they spent most of the game trying to attract the Mistletoe Camera. Meanwhile, I attended the Orlando Magic home opener last night and I hugged Stuff the Magic Dragon. Advantage: Burnsy.

Early last month we shared with you a 55-image strong gallery of Kate Upton in her underwear at the circus, modeling the entirety of the LOLA Cruise 2012 Collection. Some of the comments, as we’ve come to expect, read like this:

While nearly every professionally-shot photo that appears on the Internet or magazines is touched up in some way these days, the implication here, as it has been before, is that Sports Illustrated model and America’s Best Girl™ Kate doesn’t look in real life like she does in these photos.

To disprove that implication, I present to you the live-action video from the LOLA Cruise shoot, courtesy of my favorite place to watch the Mr. Skin Minute, Egotastic. You can still claim that it’s all about angles, or that the black and white footage washes out 19-year old girl’s imperfections, but I think a more realistic theory is that she’s perfect and you should shut up.

Today, With Leather readers, is one of those wonderful days when I get to share with you a brand new Kate Upton photoshoot. This one is for the LOLA Cruise 2012 Collection, and the pictures are so good I am going to buy a gross of swimsuits and leave them to rot in a storage unit somewhere just to say how grateful I am to the designers.

What you need to know:

1. Kate Upton was once in the “Sports Illustrated” and swimming can be a sport, so this counts as sports.

2. The gallery features Kate modeling every swimsuit in the collection, and she makes sure to give you a clear view of the front and a clear view of the back, so you’ll have an educated opinion on what to purchase and/or pass out and wake up with your credit cards maxed out.

3. Near the end of the collection it stops being about swimsuits and turns into circus cosplay, which is still not great for animals, but is a step up from sexily milking a cow.

4. Clicking the pictures takes you to a bigger version. You should click every single one.

"Yo Ocho, yo dude dressed like me... that's my chick. We're getting married and stuff."

The good news is that it appears that the NFL Lockout could end very soon. Not soon like today, but probably sometime next week. Regardless, the NFLPA* and the owners are ironing out the final details of rookie wages, which were a big obstacle, and the players could file to lift the lockout as early as Monday. The better news is that Jay Cutler’s doing fine. How fine? He was partying last night at the Diesel fashion show at the Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida as part of the Merecedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2012 events this weekend.

J-Cutty took his sore knee to Miami to support his main babe, Kristin Cavallari, as she walked the runway for Diesel’s new swimsuit line. Joined by Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, Cutler chilled and mingled with the peeps, probably downed a few brews. Nothing special, brah. Check it out for yourself after the jump, but don’t stare at J-Cutty’s babe, OK? He’s not down with that.

If I only had a dollar for every time I’d heard this one: English national team goalkeeper Robert Green is kinda sorta blaming his lapse in net Saturday on “girl troubles.” No, I’m not referring to a woman’s menstrual cycle, sicko. Green, whose butterfingered gaffe led to a Clint Dempsey goal for the United States, and ultimately a 1-1 draw in Saturday’s match, is suffering through a breakup with Canadian model Elizabeth Minett.

Dan Grant of Next Canada models confirmed Minett is a model with his agency.

“I can’t offer much of a comment,” Grant said. “They’ve been separated for a while now. “I talked to her this morning and she said, ‘No comment.’”

Minett is listed as a co-host on season 12 of the HDNet series Get Out! – a TV show that features bikini-clad models in “exciting travel and adventure.” –Toronto Sun, eh?

Wow, your life must be pretty bad if you’re getting dumped by Canadians. I just don’t understand why a guy in England decided to date a Canadian model. Whom he met in Canada. What’s the point of that? You know, besides dating someone smoking hot and getting a piece of that great white ass every so often? I guess what they say about English guys is true?
