I know that not everybody out there is a fan of violent competition like professional football, and some people just aren’t interested in watching the Baltimore Ravens take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 47 on Sunday. Thankfully, there are like 8 million channels and a variety of other shows to watch, and that begins and ends with the Game Show Network’s Dancing with the Stars marathon.

Beginning at 5 PM ET on Sunday, you can watch your favorite dancing partners, including:

Maybe if he’d worked on his jump shot for 8 hours he’d be in the NBA! Just kidding. But seriously, there’s no way he dunked for 8 hours. Who dunks for 8 hours straight?

Anyway, by way of Team Flight Bros comes this 8-hour jam session featuring TDub, the 5-foot-9 “best dunker in the world”. I put that in quotes because I’m quoting his bio, I’m not calling it into question. During this video he pulls off two major dunks: the Blake Griffin “dunk over the hood of a car” contest-winner, and one where he drags his nuts across the top of Michelle Beadle’s head before dunking. Not sure which one I’d most like to be able to do. Probably the second one.

Should the NBA start letting a few clearly superior yet non-NBA guys into the dunk contest to make it interesting? And, more importantly, wub wub wub wub wub wub.

ESPN reported last night that just two of the 5.9 million submitted Tournament Challenge brackets predicted the Final Four correctly. That’s roughly two more than I would have ever imagined picking Butler and Virginia Commonwealth to make the Final Four, but nevertheless I tip my cap to those two evil geniuses. After all, it takes real balls to put an 8- and 11-seed in your bracket’s Final Four, especially on the same side.

One of the two perfect Final Four entrants, “jspearlman”, is in first place, while the other isn’t even close (6,343rd place). But the man currently on top of the World Wide Leader’s $10,000 mountain isn’t in the clear just yet. He chose VCU to win it all, but the entrant only 50 points behind him, “dawgpound513”, still has 3 Final Four teams alive and Kentucky winning it all. And the person in third place has 3 teams remaining and UConn winning it all. And none of us really care that much because we lost weeks ago.

Michelle Beadle is everything you could ask for in a woman: perky, fun, sports-loving, and she never wants to spend the night. Beadle did it again earlier this week with “SportsNation” and their tribute to classic Super Bowl commercials, but the clip that caught my interest was Michelle’s take of drinking an entire bottle of soda in one gulp. Beads, do you do parties?

Watch her gulp it down after the jump. Now obviously, I have no idea how much soda fits in a glass bottle. Is it 12 ounces? Sixteen? Either way, just look at her go. The only way I could drink soda that fast would be if it had rum in it. Read the rest of this entry »

The second edition of DJ Steve Porter’s Press Hop was released last week, and Michelle Beadle makes a couple of appearances, which is good news for anyone who likes cute blondes who can talk sports. 90s era Mike Tyson and Deion Sanders also get some face time, which is good news for everyone.

Despite those advantages, I have to admit that the first version is better. There’s more of a reliance on the absurdity of the press conferences rather than the beat itself. That being said, how awesome are Lennox Lewis Mitch Green and Mike Tyson dressed? I guess that’s why boxing is going the way of the buffalo. Video after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

This video isn’t particularly funny, but since we’re getting a late start today and since Michelle Beadle tops the list of “Blondes I’d Let Handcuff Me To A Tree Naked And Leave Me For Dead,” we’re bringing you this video of her spoofing that Brett Favre jeans commercial that you’ve seen at least 50 times too many. I like the part where her pants fall off and then some guy lands on top of her. I’m hoping the extended cut features her running over Colin Cowherd while she drives her pickup truck down a dirt road, holding a can of Natural Light between her legs. Oh, Michelle. If only you were on show I’d remotely consider watching…via.
