Chris Paul has missed the last three games with a strained left hamstring, but it’s done little to stop the 8-4 Los Angeles Clippers from at least pacing the first place Los Angeles Lakers (10-5) in the Western Conference Pacific Division. While Paul is listed as day-to-day for his on-court activities, the injury luckily didn’t interfere with one of his favorite off-court events – the Chris Paul PBA Celebrity Invitational.

Each year, Paul teams up with the Professional Bowling Association’s biggest names, as well as some of his fellow athletes and a few celebrities, to raise money for the CP3 Foundation. This year’s tournament took place last week and ESPN was on hand to record it, as it will air on Super Bowl Sunday. I’d warn you about spoiler alerts, but you were probably never going to watch it anyway.

Contributing to the cause this year were Michael Strahan, Reggie Bush, Ciara, the guy who played Turtle on “Entourage”, Blake Griffin, a guy from “Grey’s Anatomy”, comedian Kevin Hart, Drew Carey, and pro bowling’s bad boy, Pete Weber, Jr. There were some other people at the event and you can see them after the jump as I try to Google them and figure out who the hell they are.

“I have a great relationship and she’s a great girl,” says Strahan, who is a father of four. “I don’t like to talk much about my private life, but I’m really happy.”

Murphy, who has five children with her ex, wouldn’t comment about the plans for her future with Strahan. But he says that though they’ve talked about it, “There aren’t any plans for kids… We’ve got nine between us already.”

Last year, Murphy opened up about her romance with Strahan. “When I got divorced, I said never again,” she told PEOPLE in 2008. “[But] Michael and I talk about everything, and we both love to travel, explore and laugh.”

I hate laughing. I find it bothersome, so I’m grateful that Nicole finally found someone with whom she could share that annoying little habit. Laughing is a human response; it’s not a personality trait. You like Guns ‘N Roses? I LIKE GUNS ‘N ROSES! It’s amazing these people can even pretend to know what happiness is.

We all fell in love with former New York Giant and current NFL on FOX analyst Michael Strahan when he planted a camera in an alarm clock to watch his sister-in-law undress. Today, we relive the magic after learning that Strahan’s snooping ways are continuing, seemingly unabated:

When the gap-toothed ex-Giant suspected his longtime girlfriend of cheating, he put a tracking device in her car – and went ballistic when she found it, sources told The Post.

It’s the second time Strahan, who now lives in California, used the Big Brother tactic on gal pal Nicole Murphy, the ex-wife of comedian Eddie Murphy, a source said.

Seriously, how hard is it to hide a GPS? How does he keep getting caught? It’s a good thing Strahan doesn’t work for the CIA. But then again, maybe that’s exactly what they want us to think.

I dunno, maybe I’m getting old, but the “Oh my God! Famous people have fun!” photos just don’t really do it for me any more.  Like I’m really gonna sit through all the comments at Deadspin to see which anonymous jackasses would sleep with which women, or how someone thinks Strahan’s pinkie is gross, or the comments about something in the background of the photo that makes you wonder if veteran detectives have commenting accounts.

I dunno, maybe I’m just jealous.  On New Year’s Eve I went to a party with five people, my dog was my date, and I passed out with a drink in my hand a little after midnight.  Sexiest New Year’s ever?  Sexiest New Year’s ever.

I guess the big story today for a couple hours was the news of Michael Strahan's retirement.  The Giants defensive end and future Hall of Famer had an impressive career, making seven Pro Bowls in 15 years, notching 141.5 career sacks (5th best all-time), breaking the single-season sack record with the help of a lily-livered Brett Favre, and having one of the all-time awesome divorces in sports history.  He will most likely take his outspoken act to TV, where Strahan will hopefully replace Emmitt Smith, who — if our God is a merciful, benevolent God — will be recovering from having his vocal box torn out by a pack of hungry wild dogs.

In other transaction news, careful readers will have noticed that With Leather wasted absolutely no time or energy covering the "Doug Colllins as coach of the Bulls" non-story that fizzled and went nowhere last week.  And whaddaya know, it turns out the Bulls have hired, uh… Vinny del Negro?  Seems weird, but… okay.  Perhaps they needed someone to bridge the racial divide on the team; del Negro, after all, is a white man whose name means "of the Negros."

Michael Strahan has himself a new girlfriend:

Apparently Michael likes women with expensive tastes.  I know the old adage goes, "Seek out a woman similar to your ex, know her intimately, and then jilt her," but I worry about Michael's resolve.  He might end up paying for this if Nicole's motives aren't pure, and if he has any money left.  Am I worried over nothing?  You're probably right, this arrangement can only end happily.  And God bless that Derek Jeter for organizing the charity event where these two love birds met – he is a living saint.

Nicole is trying to keep the relationship quiet, but her pals say she "feels good chemistry" between them.

In gold digger speak, chemistry (or any of the other sciences for that matter) equals money.  I can only assume that Eddie has more cash than Mike, so that's why it's only 'good' and not 'great'.  I'm going to listen to some Kanye West now. -KD
