With Leather Re-list: WWE’s 50 Most Beautiful People In Sports-Entertainment History

Written by Brandon Stroud / 11.29.12

Chickbusters Beautiful People WWE

If you haven’t seen it by now, WWE.com put together their list of the 50 Most Beautiful People In Wrestling Sports-Entertainment History. Like a lot of WWE.com lists, it was fine, but it was also full of sketchy choices. Erick Bischoff? Jack Brisco? Sable higher than Maryse? Triple H at #44?

For better or worse, the list got us talking. Pro wrestling wasn’t created as a job opportunity for pretty people, but a lot of beautiful people have wandered through it in our lifetime, so who would I pick? Who would my friends pick, or the people I know who write about wrestling online, or wrestlers themselves?

The answer? We’re doing a re-list.

I got together with 27 (!) important internet wrestling types — including pro wrestlers from WWE to the independent circuit, comedians, writers, podcasters, the UPROXX network staff and even fans — to put together a more in-touch rebuttal to WWE’s list. It’s a look at who we think really deserves a spot on the top 50, and … you’re already flipping through the list, aren’t you? Fine, I’ll shut up.

Here is your CELEBRITY (AND OTHER PEOPLE) GUEST PANEL. These people were nice enough to help out, and deserve your love and follow:

The With Leather Hot Twitter List Buzz Words Top 25: Playmates I’d Like To Watch Golf With

Written by Ashley Burns / 09.26.12

Well, hello friends. Welcome back to this week’s running series of the actual, honest to Jesus Twitter accounts that you should be following. This isn’t butt-kissing with buzz words, as much as it’s our tight-knit little family trying to help make your social media experience more fulfilling. So far, my good friends Bobby Big Wheel and Danger Guerrero have filled you in on the Twitter accounts that mean so much to them, and now I’m going to school you on the Playboy Playmates that I’d like watch golf with.

I’m a huge golf fan, and I love playing. I also love Playboy. In fact, on a few occasions, I’ve contemplated entering one of the Playboy Golf events and putting on a little exhibition with my Sasquatch for the ladies. But the problem is that I suck at golf, and I’d just end up embarrassing myself. So I figured the solution to that is that I’d just watch golf with some Playmates and wow them with my knowledge, because chances are they don’t like golf, and they’d be like, “Wow, Burnsy, you’re like the king of golf.”

So here, in no particular order, are 25 Playboy Playmates and models that are fun to follow on Twitter and are now invited to come watch golf with me.

The With Leather Hot Twitter List Buzz Words Top 25: Efficiency, People

Written by Danger Guerrero / 09.25.12

(Burnsy here. The other day, me and the fellas were chatting around the UPROXX whiskey fountain, and we decided that Sports Illustrated and Deadspin are on to something. Last week, SI – for no reason other than passing out some cyber ass slaps – launched its list of the 100 sports people that we should be following on Twitter, and Deadspin responded with a more tongue-in-cheek version of people we shouldn’t follow. The problem, though, is that there are people out there who you really should be following that don’t get the credit they deserve, and there are people who really, really suck beyond the obvious guys like Skip Bayless and Jason Whitlock, who both really, really suck.

So we enlisted some friends for this week, and we’re sending out our own Twitter ass slaps. Next on the docket, UPROXX’s own Danger Guerrero.)

Here is my Twitter Top 25…

Hey there boners, Bobby Big Wheel here, starting off our week of awesome Twitter lists to counteract the lame-ass Sports Illustrated linkbait crap Darren Rovell ones. Did I use enough adjectives there? Good. Anyway, here are 25 Tweeters that I want to go to Burning Man with.
