ESPN sideline reporter Jenn Brown took batting practice with the South Carolina Gamecocks baseball team at the College World Series recently, and if you’ve never seen the former Florida Gators softball player take a cut, it’s a thing of beauty. Lost Letterman compares her to Ichiro. Not sure I’d go that far, but it’s close. At the very least she looks a lot better swinging a bat than Rachel Nichols would.

She even gives switch-hitting a try, but just like me, she’s better from the left than the right. Unlike me, she hits most of the balls thrown her way, and she never does that thing where she pretends like her wrists are hurting and that’s why she’s not doing well.

If that’s not enough to make you watch the video, here’s the hard sell from South Carolina coach Ray Tanner:

“She’s got a really nice swing; really nice swing. Technique, fluid, and she’s got better wheels than anyone we’ve got,” Tanner said. “She’s a step faster than Tanner English. She’s got nice wheels. Have you ever seen her run?”

ESPN college football sideline reporter Jenn Brown took her extra N to the University of Cincinnati’s Nippert Stadium last night as the Bearcats took on N.C. State for some hot Thursday night action. Chances are that you were frozen in terror or confusion while watching “Whitney” on NBC, but if not you probably caught Brown’s tiny faux pas in the third quarter, as she accidentally called Cincinnati’s coach, Butch Jones, “Bitch.”

A mistake? Absolutely. But she quickly corrected herself and moved on like the consummate professional that she is, and she even recognized her mistake on Twitter, which means that the whole situation is resolved. After all, it’s not like she said, “Sh*t” on Monday Night Football and just kept guffawing along about quarterbacks. I guess what I’m trying to say is that Brown is more attractive than Ron Jaworski.

Why worry about going through the trouble of rehabilitating Erin Andrews when you can just rebuild her? Not rebuild necessarily, but you know, find another 20-something woman from the University of Florida with sandy blonde hair and a kickin’ bod and a generous helping of forehead and bam!

Jenn Brown was just hired by ESPN to work for their ESPNU channel. She’ll be traveling to American colleges week after week and inspiring young men to want to have sex with her. Something tells me she has some experience with that. via, via. Thanks to Joe for the heads-up.
