With the NBA season fast approaching, Nets guard Jason Kidd is already getting into mid-season form.  Last week the All-Star allegedly put the suavest moves imaginable on a 23-year-old aspiring model at a club in New York City's "ritzy" Meatpacking District.

The complaint says Kidd was partying at club Tenjune on Little West 12th St. when he walked up to the woman and grabbed her crotch at about 2:30 a.m., a police source said.

The woman said she and Kidd got into an argument and he grabbed her a second time, the source said. Bouncers broke up the spat. Kidd was not ejected from the club, the source said.

Well, of course he wasn't ejected.  The man's a star, and this chick is just some super-hot uptight broad who doesn't understand what an honor it is to receive the attention of the best all-around point guard in the game.  Doesn't she understand that getting her crotch grabbed is compliment?

Man.  And to think: the Meatpacking District gets a bad rap for being filled with creepy douchebags from New Jersey.

Remember all the ugliness from the Jason and Joumana Kidd divorce?  All the stripper-nailing and cookie-beating?  According to Joumana, it's all water under the bridge.

Joumana Kidd said she Jason are now "very cordial" and both feel "awful" about their messy public divorce, which has included allegations of infidelity and domestic violence.  "He comes over all the time – we laugh and joke about it now and he's apologized a million times about how it happened," Joumana told The Post yesterday…  "It is unfortunate things didn't happen in a more gracious manner, but I have no grudges in any way."

Yeah.  Everything's juuuust fine between the two of — Watch out!  It's a trap!  She's got a knife!

Well, probably not. This story is from Media Take Out, which is like having a website full of total fabrications, only less accurate. Anyway, caveat aside, here's what they say:

Dammit, SHE was supposed to be the woman who enjoyed the wedded bliss of Jason Kidd's carousing and wife-beating! All those years she wasted acting in movies could have been spent pregnant with a black eye while her husband nailed strippers. I guess she's just a nice old-fashioned girl.

The Smoking Gun today has Joumana Kidd's counter-suit against husband/Nets point guard Jason Kidd. In case you're not up to speed on the story, Jason essentially called her a psychotic bitch in his lawsuit, and she has chosen to respond with massive retaliation (John Foster Dulles would be impressed):

According to Joumana, Kidd has engaged in extramarital affairs with "several different television reporters," as well as strippers in Arizona, Sacramento, Miami, Dallas and Indiana, a Nets season ticket holder, a Nets' employee, and a cheerleader in New Orleans.

Strippers in at least five cities, TV reporters, and a cheerleader? And those are only the ones Joumana claims to know about. C'mon, Joumana, I understand you're mad, but… you have to be at least a little bit impressed.

Joumana portrays Kidd as a masochistic binge drinker and excessive gambler…

…who began beating her even before the pair's 1997 marriage. She claims that Kidd assaulted her while she was pregnant with the couple's first child and has struck her with everything from a large rock to a cookie.

Jason Kidd, who five years ago plead guilty to domestic abuse against his wife Joumana, are going through more hardships.

Joumana Kidd, 34, has been furious over the New Jersey Net great's frequent nights out in New York City, the sources said.

"It's a mess, and it's been going on for a while," one source close to the All-Star point guard said of the pair's latest marital discord.

For his part, Kidd has filed a domestic violence complaint accusing Joumana of mistreating their three children.

"It has been painful for Jason Kidd to watch the effect of his wife's behavior on their children," said Madeline Marzano-Lesnevich, a Hackensack lawyer representing the New Jersey Nets point guard.

Recapping NBA games isn't exactly my steez, but I'd probably get fired if I didn't point out that the Suns beat the Nets 161-157 in double overtime last night. Yes, that's the score of a basketball game, not a wing-eating contest.

This is one of those games where the statistics can boggle your mind: Jason Kidd had a 38-14-14 triple double; Steve Nash had 13 assists and 42 points, including the tying three-pointer at the end of regulation; the Suns tallied 43 assists as a team and made 17 three-pointers; the teams combined for 84 points in the fourth quarter alone; and, most notably, Vince Carter had nine assists. Wow. It must be a contract year for VC.

161-157. It was like the All-Star game, but with less defense. And fewer trashy sluts.
