I’m not sure what world we’re living in where pro wrestling legend, reality television star and breastauranteur Hulk Hogan comes close to being the voice of reason, but all right.

Because “celebrity news” is a really loosely-defined thing, a reporter stopped Hulk Hogan and wrestling manager Jimmy Hart at LAX and asked them what they thought of Fallon Fox, the trangender MMA fighter who was born a man, became a woman, and is facing a hell of a lot of grief trying to MMA with other women. MMA can be a verb, right? Anyway, the Hulkster is a notoriously dishonest fellow — please consult the story where he killed the 2,000 pound Andre the Giant by body slamming him for more information on that — and he runs a f**king breastaurant, so he’s the very definition of the American Heterosexual Caucasian Male. He’s Guy Fieri with a gym membership.

Hello! Is it an Impact column you’re looking for? I can see it in your eyes. I can see it in your smile. And I want to tell you so much….the following pre-show notes:

- Haven’t voted in With Leather’s Bad Wrestling Theme Lyrics March Madness Tournament? Unsure who to vote for? Might I recommend two podcasts of a combined three hour length that will tickle your funny bone and fill you with mental images of me fighting Haystacks Calhoun? No? Well, you should listen anyways, because they’re pretty great. I know it seems like a long time, but hey, toss it on during a commute. A lunch break. Take a road trip, see something fun, and listen to Brandon’s dead-on Matt Hardy impersonation. And hey, while you’re doin’ stuff, you should check out the rest of The Mandible Claw. Wrestling! Wrestlers! It’s all there!

- Another thing you should do, as I am apparently an expert on that now, is donate a little (or a lot) of money to Brandon’s movie project. It’s not often that you get to be a part of someone living their dream, and every little bit helps. I have read the script, and boy howdy is this something you should want to see come to fruition. It’s good, guys. I know you’re here for rassles talks, which some of you have made clear in some less than kind ways, however this is something that is truly important to me, and I hope you’ll help in any way you can. Even if you can’t give, or can’t give right now, sharing, blogging, tweeting – all of these will help bolster awareness, and hopefully what was once just an idea can become a fully realized piece of art.

The results are in! After a week of tumultuous voting arguments and two lengthy, analytical podcasts, we can safely declare the round one winners in the first annual With Leather Bad Wrestling Theme Lyrics March Madness Tournament. I say “annual” like we can do this more than once. Oh, and uh, I fixed the brackets.

Anyway, the tournament continues this week with round two action. A lot of the heavy hitters remain — American Males and its Devo + didgeridoos attempt at 80s rock, Billy Kidman’s weird, rapey rap song — as well as a few surprises. Who knew Chyna would lose so early?

Whatever you do, don't doze off.

On Tuesday, With Leather launched round one of the Bad Wrestling Theme Lyrics March Madness Tournament, a not-really-seeded contest of bad writing and poor song planning. On Friday, we shared part 1 of a two-part podcast intended to help you make a decision. Today, we present to you part two. GUESS WHAT HAPPENS NOW.

If you haven’t voted on the round one match-ups yet, TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO VOTE. This is important. Tomorrow we’ll be announcing the lyrics that’re moving on to round two, and if you let that happen without contributing your voice, this whole experiment will be for nothing. On Tuesday, With Leather launched round one of the Bad Wrestling Theme Lyrics March Madness Tournament, a 32-song showdown featuring some of the worst songwriting imaginable and brackets that don’t really make sense because the songs aren’t really seeded.

If you haven’t voted on the round one match-ups yet, you’ve got until Monday, March 18 to participate. If you aren’t intimately familiar with the songs featured or would like further analysis on the lyrics and why you should or shouldn’t pick them, I’m here to help: Best and Worst of Impact columnist Danielle Matheson and I put together an almost 90 minute analysis of the first 16 songs.

The intention was to cover everything at once and post the podcast at The Mandible Claw on Monday, but we got really into it, split it in half, and decided to post part 1 here today. You’ll want to listen: I sing Test’s theme, Danielle sings Rob Van Dam’s TNA theme, and we discuss how an asshole could be “always kicking asshole’s ass” more than ESPN talks about hockey.
