Fat Kids Be Damned: The World’s Largest Dodgeball Game And The Best Of Devin Graham

Written by Ashley Burns / 09.23.11

One week ago today, director Devin Graham and his friends set out with one goal – they wanted to host the largest dodgeball game in the history of the world. 3,975 people and 750 balls later, their goal was not only accomplished, but thanks to that fateful evening at Thanksgiving Point in Utah, they created one hell of a video as well. And it also bears pointing out that 3,975 is just the number of people who signed waivers. Graham claims that many more people arrived at the field, jumping fences just to get in on the action. Oh Mexicans, how they love dodgeball.

But pointless stereotypes aside, Graham’s dodgeball game is just the tip of an incredible video iceberg. Over at his blog, “Adventures of Devin and other short stories,” Graham uses his talents as a director and video editor to deliver some awesome athletic feats. Seriously, I want to be friends with these people. Mainly because of the girls they hang out with, but also because the videos are cool.

After the jump, I’ve put together the best of Graham’s adventures.

The NFL Knows What It’s Doing

Written by Ryan Walsh / 10.12.10

Listen up, every man in America, because this is something you should listen to closely. Marisa Miller, the angel sent from Heaven as a reminder that God loves you, will be the new spokesman for the NFL’s international game this season. I haven’t heard news this good since that ‘doctor’ told me my ‘cancer’ was benign, whatever that means.

“I’m so excited to have this incredible opportunity to partner with the NFL,” Miller says. “I’ve grown up watching football my whole life.”

The “SuperFan” will be promoting the league’s special events, including the Oct. 31 International Series game airing on CBS between the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos in London.

A longtime 49ers fan, Miller will appear in both print and commercial ads for the league. The print campaign–shot by Cartel and photographer Brian Bowen — features Miller in vintage 49ers and Broncos gear to promote the overseas game. –Hollywood Reporter

Obviously, few things make me happier than seeing Marisa Miller getting all sexy to promote football. I still wish she’d taken a closer look at my proposal for her to get all sexy to promote the Lingerie Football League. I had a great photo shoot lined up in my bedroom. There are preview pictures of Marisa over at the Hollywood Reporter’s website. I’m assuming that’s something you’d be interested in.
