Gisele Bundchen, the supermodel wife of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady that people often call “ugly” just to feel better about themselves, gave birth to Tom Brady’s second child back in December. But Gisele let one detail slip about the birth during an interview with Brazilian mag Fantástico:

In the interview, Bündchen dispels reports that she went into labor and was taken to a Boston-area hospital. Instead, she says, “I gave birth in the bathtub,” at the couple’s Beacon Hill penthouse.

“Gisele gives off simplicity, spirituality, shows that she has concern with living well, being happy and, now, with being an excellent mom,” the reporter recounts in a preview of Fantástico’s interview. –People, via I’m Not Obsessed.

I’m no expert, but trying to drown the kid before he can full pop out of the womb doesn’t sound like “excellent” parenting. But seriously, I guess this is like the trendy thing now, even though some people aren’t crazy about it. This is barely related to sports, anyway. Gisele Bündchen, noted piece of ass and wife of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (those almost seem contradictory, don’t they?) told People magazine that she’s pregnant. At least until Bernard Pollard throws her down a flight of stairs.

Speculation has grown since pictures showing the supermodel in Brazil this week surfaced showing what seems to be a perceptible bump. Bündchen and New England Patriots quarterback husband Tom Brady were married twice this Spring – first in a ceremony in Los Angeles Feb. 26, then exchanging vows before friends in early April at Bündchen’s Costa Rica home.

“Family is everything,” Bündchen, who turns 29 next month, told PEOPLE last month. “I think family is the base to everything. I think that is one of the things I’m most grateful for. I have a lot to be grateful for but I think that’s definitely number one.”

There was a lot of speculation on whether or not Gisele actually was pregnant or if it was just some silly tabloid rumor. You never really know these things until you hear them from the horse’s mouth.

We never really brought up the Tom Brady-Gisele Buttchin honeymoon (zing!), partly because of our penchant for quasi-political screed, I guess. But also because, well, it’s kinda dull. Tom and Gisele eating ice cream? Why, they’re living like royalty! Peace, yo. |thanks, Ape|

But now Guanabee has pulled some paparazzi video of Gisele’s and Tom Brady’s travelling in Brazil, which I understand is quite badass for a country filled with people that don’t really speak English. It looks like Brady spent his day being miserable while being carted around by Gisele and her sisters, but, to be fair, if I had a cadre of South Americans snapping my picture within ten feet of my face.

Sometimes I’m glad I’m not famous. That’s why I spend so little time working on my podcast. The last thing I need is for that thing to take off and make me a big celebrity. Mary Kate Olsen will just have to kill someone else.

WL Reader Stephen saved me 15 minutes of work by sending in this tip about Gisele Bundchen’s interview in Harper’s Bazaar, which isn’t a true bazaar. It’s a magazine. When Gisele was asked about her new husband Tom Brady, Gisele mentioned her favorite quality about him–he’s not very smart.

“Tom is a good guy,” she continues tentatively. “He has a very pure heart. He’s very naive, almost like a child. That is my favorite quality about him. One thing that I thought was so amazing when I first met him is that he is innocent. He sees the world with colored glasses.” (While Gisele speaks several languages, occasionally some charming malapropisms escape her.) “It’s beautiful, but I think that is rare. I love that about him. No one else sees that. He’s very strong and focused in his job, but he’s so sensitive, it’s amazing.”

Okay, so maybe she just meant more that he’s an innocent guy, as opposed to some kind of dolt. Yeah, I had a girl tell me once that I saw the world through colored glasses. Then she hooked up with a colored guy and stopped returning my calls. But I don’t need her, she was…sorry, I thought I heard the phone ring. Maybe the ringer’s off. Am I sure that it’s recharged?

Gisele allegedly said she would run naked through midtown Manhattan if the Giants beat her boyfriend's Patriots in the Super Bowl, but now she's…so hold on, like naked naked? She could wear running shoes, right? I mean, there's like glass and shit in the street, and that concrete can be really bad for your knees…anyway, she's re-neging.

"It was a mistake and I'm sorry I said it. I don't know what I could have been thinking — Midtown Manhattan is a parking lot any time of day or night. It'd take 30 minutes just to make it from the Theater District to 34th Street. And what if I ran into the Naked Cowboy and had to pose for pictures with every out-of-town Tom, Dick and Harry? Tack on another 30 minutes, easily. How 'bout I simply flashed my breasts from a billboard in Times Square and call it a day … will that work?"

Listen, lady, everybody pays. We'd hate to send Big Louie over to bust your kneecaps. Those sexy, sensual kneecaps. It's probably for the best. If people are urinating in the streets of New York City now, what would they do when a naked Gisele ran by? Probably whip it out and start beating off right then and there. No, sorry, that was a rhetorical question.
