The Best And Worst Of WWE Raw 6/25/12: A Pretty Good Reason To Shout ‘Yes’

Written by Brandon Stroud / 06.26.12

AJ YES Chant WWE Raw

Pre-show notes:

- Yes, there’s a gif of her doing that inside. If you don’t read the column regularly, now’s a good time to start.

- Thanks to Casey of Hammerlock Dialectic for making that sales pitch a reality.

- Follow us on Twitter @withleather, follow me personally @MrBrandonStroud and like us on Facebook.

- After you’re done reading the report, make sure to head over to Progressive Boink and read my wrestling content there. On Friday I did The Top 10 Least-Threatening Looking Pro Wrestlers Named Ricky and you should totally read/comment/like/share it so they’ll be okay with me doing more. The only thing Jon knows about wrestling is Hulk Hogan and body slam. But I guess that’s really all you need to know.

Anyway, please enjoy this week’s Best and Worst of WWE Raw column for June 25, 2012. SID shows up and it rules.

The Best And Worst Of WWE No Way Out ’12

Written by Brandon Stroud / 06.18.12

Best and Worst Of WWE No Way Out 2012

Pre-show notes:

- I decided to write two Best And Worst columns this week because I hate myself. Please make sure to leave a comment, click the like button and share the column with wrestling fans you know. We want to make sure to keep bringing in new people to the community, so we don’t end up with ten people telling me everything I write is great.

- Thanks to Casey of Hammerlock Dialectic for pics and gifs, as always. More excited to get a mark photo with him at King Of Trios than Tommy Dreamer.

- Follow us on Twitter @withleather, follow me personally @MrBrandonStroud and like us on Facebook.

- If you just tune in to With Leather for the wrestling reports, make sure not to miss With Spandex episode 6, where I talk to WWE Superstar Derrick Bateman about N64 WWF No Mercy mods, the Cleveland Indians, star ratings and a weird fan fiction where he and Kaitlyn go out for paninins and AJ is their waitress. It’s a good time. Also, come to the site for more than the wrestling reports, jerk.

Anyway, enjoy the Best And Worst Of WWE No Way Out ’12. Yes, I ordered the poster.

WWE No Way Out ’12 Open Discussion Thread

Written by Brandon Stroud / 06.17.12

WWE No Way Out '12 open discussion thread AJ Daniel Bryan

WWE No Way Out airs on pay-per-view this Sunday night, starting with a YouTube exclusive pre-show match and beginning formally at 8 PM EST. With Leather and the funniest wrestling fans on the Internet will be keeping you up to date with what’s happening, what jokes to make on Twitter and claim as your own and which person in the Intercontinental Championship match is most challenging to heterosexuality (spoiler alert: Cody Rhodes).

The show is headlined by a steel cage match between John Cena and the Big Show, wherein if Big Show loses, Executive Vice President Of Talent Relations And General Manager Of Both Raw And Smackdown John Laurinaitis will be fired. However, if Big Show wins, John Cena will be fired. Oh, there are also two heavyweight championship matches happening on the show but those are way less important.

Full card is below:

- Pre-show Match: “Funkasaurus” Brodus Clay vs. Santino Marella

- Tuxedo Match: United States Champion Santino Marella vs. Ricardo Rodriguez

- Divas Championship Match: Layla (c) vs. Beth Phoenix

- Intercontinental Championship Match: Christian (c) vs. Cody Rhodes

- Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Kane vs. Daniel Bryan

- World Heavyweight Championship Match: Sheamus (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

- Steel Cage Match: John Cena vs. Big Show. If Big Show loses, John Laurinaitis will be fired. If John Cena loses, he will be fired.

Notes:

People-Power-official-badge- Participate in tonight’s discussion by clicking the “like” button at the top of the page (right under the headline) and sharing it on Twitter during the show and you’ll unlock the greatest With Leather commenter badge yet: the PEOPLE POWER badge, a revolution in badge entertainment. This may be our last ever opportunity to celebrate the glorious life and achievements of Mr. John Laurinaitis, so make sure you earn it, and tell your friends to stop by and get one themselves.

- My ten favorite comments from tonight’s open discussion thread will be featured in tomorrow’s Best And Worst Of WWE No Way Out ’12 show report. To nominate a comment for top ten status, please reply to it with a +1. Try not to nominate “omg AJ is sooo hawt” over and over.

The Best And Worst Of WWE Raw 5/28/12: WWE ’13 Presents Memorial Day

Pre-show notes:

- Please make sure to leave a comment on the report. Facebook likes and Twitter shares are huge. These take forever to write, so if you want me to keep them up instead of just posting Ultimate Handball Fails videos like a normal popular sports blog should, do your part.

- Thanks to Casey of the WWE Magazine awareness-winning Hammerlock Dialectic for pics and gifs. Without your help, the column would be 100 times more difficult to read.

- Follow us on Twitter @withleather, follow me personally @MrBrandonStroud and like us on Facebook.

Anyway, going to get right to it. Please enjoy the Best And Worst Of WWE Raw for May 28, 2012. Memorial Day. The Troops!

The Best And Worst Of WWE Raw 5/14/12: Get On Your Knees And Beg For It

Written by Brandon Stroud / 05.15.12

Pre-show notes:

- Our comments were down by like… 80 last week (and it was a good week!) so prepare for NONSTOP DEMANDS FOR YOUR COMMENTS, LIKES, TWEETS AND SHARES. Help a brother out, all I do is give you free entertainment and make you click five-seven times.

- This Sunday is ACW’s Prom, so if you’re interested in filling in for the Best and Worst of Over The Limit and have some sort of resume (like being a nationally touring comedian or having played Dr. Cube in Kaiji Big Battel) that would make me go “oh wow okay” or some ridiculous amount of Twitter followers that would trick me into believing the first half is true, shoot me an e-mail.

- Follow us on Twitter @withleather, follow me personally @MrBrandonStroud and like us on Facebook.

- Continued thanks to Casey/THESTINGER for helping me out with gifs and pictures. Be sure to visit his gifs Tumblr. We’re gonna be doing a thing soon, so support him now.

- Don’t forget to check out the Raw Deal at TJR Wrestling. John’s perspective is easier to enjoy than mine, and contains 100% fewer Excel Saga references.

Pre-show notes:

- If you like the report and read it all the time, click the like button and drop a comment. My only real reward for doing this is knowing that you like it. Well, there’s also money, but that’s not specifically for this. What I’m saying is either leave me a comment and click like, or send me a bunch of money.
