What, no trucknuts? No Conway Twitty 8-tracks? And you reeeally expect us to believe that this was Brett Favre’s truck? I suppose the only way we’d know for sure is if we bought it and then six months later Favre asked to have it back. Or if Aaron Rogers bought it and then crashed it later that day. Or if the Jets leased it for a year. Did I get to the end of the image yet?

The owners of the Steel Ice Center in Bethlehem, Pa., appear to be having some difficulty selling their 67,000-square-foot hockey/skating facility, so they're putting up ads for it in The New York Times, as well as other major newspapers. I guess the Craigslist for sale section is still too unreliable for selling sporting complexes. Soon enough, though. Just you wait.

"We're not going to close," said [co-owner Tom] Schantz, who built the dual-rink facility in 2003 in partnership with his father, local greenhouse owner Dan Schantz, and Jeff Trainer. The trio attempted selling the nearly 3.6-acre property in 2006 for $7.75 million after two failed management teams, including Philadelphia Flyers owner Comcast-Spectacor, forced them into day-to-day operations.

"We didn't get in it to actually run an ice rink" Tom Schantz said. "We built it for the community and the Flyers thing didn't work out. We have a good management team in there now. It's turn key. I believe they'd all want to stay."

If you've got a spare $7 million or so to blow and maybe would like a home with concession stands, this could be just the thing. Sure, the location could be better, situated as it is in economic-depressed-y Lehigh Valley, but that just means it can be converted into a massive shelter for your friends, neighbors and 3,000 or so friendliest drifters you've met while riding the rails.
