The good people at [adult swim] didn’t do weekly Carl Brutananadilewski this past year, and the NFL season was less entertaining for it. But the Aqua Teen Hunger Force star has returned to give you the inside track on some Super Bowl prop bets. These are basically the same kind of jokes you can get at Kissing Suzy Kolber, but it’s more satisfying to have a fat, bald, pissed off, Zubaz-pants wearing cartoon from New Jersey tell them than it is to read them. Basically, anything’s better than reading. That’s why I bought this Filipino child to read my emails and RSS feed to me. Dammit, Amado! SOUND IT OUT!

Carl reminds that even the most disgusting human beings can come off as wise and personable if they're a cartoon. I can't smell the piss stains in his rug, sneeze at the mold on his walls, or contract tetanus from the rust on his windowsill. But 25 large can make up for a lot of that, even if it means getting a plasma for OH FUCK DUDE WHERE'S YOUR MOUSTACHE?!!??!?

Here's this week's Carl video, which by default is preferable to the previous post.  This clip at least pushes the studly naked college quarterbacks down the page a little while I work on putting together some photo galleries to re-sexify things around here.

Also, if you missed it, the Sporting Blog has a link to a ten-minute .mp3 file of an interview with Carl, which kinda makes up for him being a little off his game this week.  The Giants have to stop winning — Carl's just not pissed enough these days.

As you might have expected, Carl's pretty stoked about the Giants' win over the Packers, but that doesn't mean he isn't still prepared to destroy misser-of-field-goals Lawrence Tynes's life if the need arises  Also featured in this video: creative nicknames and loose plans for rioting.  Or as I call it, "Tuesday."

I don't know what kind of operation the people at adult swim are running that allows them to take three weeks off from making Carl videos, but I'm glad they're back, because I'd had just about enough of writing the full compliment of posts every week.  Anyway, Carl's back to celebrate his role in the Giants' win, and it's almost like he's reading straight from the New York Post. 

I really prefer the stereotype of Carl to the reality of my New York experience.  I'll take Zubaz pants and sincere mustaches over stupid haircuts and ironic mustaches any day of the week.

UPDATE — I think I fixed the video

I've been posting these Carl videos ever since he started doing a weekly pissed-off rant about sports, and this is by far my favorite one yet.  Perhaps it's because Carl has softened his tone for the holidays, perhaps it's because his college bowl picks seem so insightful… but probably it's because the video includes this sentence: "I then pelted her with ice and loose change."  That goes a long way in my book.
