Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant was one of two celebs appearing in a new TV spot for “Call Of Duty: Black Ops.” The commercial is quite awesome and kept me intrigued right up until the tagline hit the screen, reading, “There is a soldier in all of us.” Bryant appears holding an M-16 with an attached grenade launcher. Bryant fires and misses, but that’s okay, because he takes like 30 shots a game. This commercial is terrific, and while some NBA followers will take issue with Bryant being portrayed in a violent light, I can’t help but appreciate the elements of fun and inclusiveness that Kobe’s few seconds onscreen deliver to the ad.
