Kate Upton Beach Bunny Bronze Photo Shoot Reminds Us Why She Got That SI Cover

Written by Brandon Stroud / 04.04.12

Back in February, Kate Upton was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue. Because of this, she was given a sudden sort of mainstream fame, and our natural predilection toward posting pictures of nearly everything she does went into overdrive and we got close to making everyone sick of looking at her. I can’t imagine a greater crime than that. I’d rather stab someone than make them tired of looking at Kate Upton.

Well, a couple of months have passed and the fame has died down to a Miss America-level murmur, and Kate is back to doing bikini shoots and showing up in summer movies as the trophy girlfriend or the unexpectedly hot nun or whatever. Hopefully that also means you’d like to look at her again, because this Beach Bunny Bronze photoshoot is incredible and the closest she’s ever come to not looking like Whitebread American Equestrian Enthusiast Kate Upton.

You’re probably already flipping through the pics, so I’ll wrap it up. Here are a bunch of pictures from Kate’s Beach Bunny Bronze photoshoot and one really fantastic video. Thanks to Weed over at Sportress and Upstate Underdog for the hat tips, and to Kate’s parents for making the greatest thing ever.

Suck It, Australia: Florida Broke The Bikini Parade World Record

Written by Ashley Burns / 03.08.12

Seriously, your move Brazil.

Very rarely am I ever proud to actually admit that I live in Florida, but on days like this I’m wearing my America’s Wang t-shirt without shame. Back in October, 357 women took to Australia’s Gold Coast to break the Guinness World Record for the longest bikini parade, and I sure commended their efforts, because who can’t appreciate 357 Australian women wearing a few inches of fabric? The women of Panama City Beach, Florida, that’s who.

To be precise, 450 Floridian women gave a big thong wedgie to those ladies Down Under on Tuesday, as they strutted their stuff along the Gulf of Mexico. And boy are they proud.

“We were able to not just break the record but smash it,” said Dan Rowe, president and CEO of the Panama City Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, which sponsored the effort. “Everybody had a great time.”

Although clearly a celebration of fun (and exposed flesh), the event also had its serious side, raising $1,000 for Beach Care Services, a local charity that provides assistance to those in need. (Via MSNBC)

Just in case you’re wondering how serious Guinness is about this specific world record, they not only make sure that every participant walks the full one-mile parade route, but they also make sure that every girl is wearing an actual bikini. Not some one-piece or, even worse, a t-shirt.

So I guess my main point is – how do I get that job?

Australia Knows How To Set A World Record

Written by Ashley Burns / 10.06.11

As most of our half-drunk, all-miserable middle school social studies teachers taught us, Australia was destined for coolness from the very first day that the British started shipping their criminals there. In fact, it’s pretty disappointing in retrospect that the American colonies couldn’t make Georgia cooler than it is, but we can’t change history. We can only celebrate what it has given us.

In this case, Australia’s history has given us great things like kangaroos, boomerangs, giant beer cans, the first two Crocodile Dundee movies, and newspaper stories about koala bears in car crashes. This past weekend, though, Australia outdid itself, as 357 women of all ages (but mostly within our key pervert demographic) gathered to recapture the most important world record of all-time – the longest bikini parade.

Australia had previously broken the record a few years back but it was later captured by efforts in Las Vegas and most recently the Cayman Islands. But now this prestigious honor returns to where it belongs, in the Down Under with a hoard of attractive women. Alas, I would be lying if I said I did not want for other countries to continuously challenge this record for the sake of competition. And if they could do it every week around Tuesday, that would work perfectly for our traffic.

Enjoy the best of Australia’s newest and most important world record.

MYLEENE KLASS IS WET, SPORTY

Written by JOSH Z / 03.18.09

The populace at Celeb Fan Forum assembled a solid thread in tribute of Britian’s Myleene Klass, a British pop star that seems to be pretty good at cartwheels and dribbling a soccer ball through surf. And she has an Asian friend, apparently. If she’s any good at Madden, she’d be a dream come true. Amateur astronomer? Eh, close enough. More on Klass from Wikipedia:

Klass was born in Gorleston, Norfolk, England, to an English/Austrian father and a Filipino mother.[1] She comes from six generations of classical musicians on her father’s side: Klass’s grandmother was an opera singer and her grandfather left his violin to her, which she later went on to play.

Klass began to learn the piano and violin from the age of four and then the harp at 12. She took Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams in violin, piano and voice. She received an A grade in A-level music, and became a Norfolk County scholar.[2]

I’ve never wanked it to somebody so cultured. The gallery is worth checking out; my favorites, as always, are after the jump.

BEACH VOLLEYBALL CREATED A POP GROUP

Written by Matt / 04.20.08

I've actually been to a professional beach volleyball tournament and there were hundreds of bikini-clad hotties, but AVP (Beach Volleyball's Professional League) obviously thought the scene needed 5 more talented and lovely girls:

Uh, their talents would be more apparent without all that annoying singing and dancing. More Beach Girlz (nothing says attitude like an unnecessary 'z') and fake Australian accents after the jump . . .

"Dancing in the sand is harder than singing and dancing at the same time."? Hmm, remind me not to ask that girl to participate in a threesome. -KD
