For fans of the Tampa Bay Youth Football League, it might have seemed as if the Town N’ Country Packers had a little bit of an edge over the rest of the teams in the league of 13- and 14-year olds. Well that just depends on how much of an advantage can be provided by having a 21-year old on the team. Julious Threatts pretended to be 14-year old Chad Jordan while playing for the Packers, and was exposed when he tried to enroll as a student at Hillsborough County Middle School. What an amateur. Clearly the best way to spend time at a middle school is by renting a windowless van.
Most remarkable about this discovery is the painstaking detective work that was done to uncover Threatt’s web of lies. While waiting for someone from the Department of Child and Families to handle this situation, school officials allowed Threatt to have a snack in the cafeteria, when the principal passed by, saw Threatt and immediately recognized that there was no way in hell he was 14. Then he realized the cook was actually Tupac, but by that point it was too late and he was gone.
