That’s the analysis of the crowd, and it says it all. What the heck indeed, guy who has been playing baseball long enough to be a team’s pitcher but still thinks you can Monty Brown Pounce a dude to keep him from scoring.
The players and coaches all handled the situation well, but man, I feel like a guy blindsiding you with a tackle in BASEBALL deserves an organized team beatdown.

Looks like the pitcher lost his cool for some reason. Threw right at the kid the pitch prior when the batter called for time. The wild bitch was a tad inside as well, but he definitely look a b-line for the runner.
Crazy.
See, this is a perfect example of how bench-clearing brawls are supposed to happen. Their pitcher throws at our guy and then straight up tackles a baserunner? Up now, and rush him.
Gotta give that pitchers coach heaps of credit. He was out there like a shot, pulling his stupid pitcher out of there and keeping his team back. I’m hoping that the umpires counted this as a run, it makes sense to me.
That’s my alma mater getting blind-sided on the not top 10. The pitcher was suspended for 3 games. Not much of a suspension given the rotation.
Looking forward to watching this kid pitch professionally in Vince McMahon’s XLB.
