Thanks for joining us with preliminary action already in progress for tonight's free UFC fight, AKA UFC on FOX 6 at 8 PM ET. My apologies for the delay, but I'm having some technical difficulties with my sinuses and let's just say some boogers are throwing knees at my brains right now. Sexy, right? Right. Let's get on with the chatty action, shall we?
Tonight's fight should be a doozie, with the main main event featuring Demetrious Johnson defending his Flyweight championship against John Dodson in what promises to be one hell of an exciting fight between two guys who are much, much skinnier than me. In the other main event, Rampage Jackson makes his return to the octagon to fight Glover Texeira, and let's just say that the man who brought B.A. Baracus to the big screen is less than excited about tonight's fight. He's basically just doing this to earn some extra coin, and that's a little depressing. But I guess that's the nature of the beast or something.

1/26/13 the last time a flyweight championship will ever be the main event on FOX
Look it’s cool to see 467 hits landed, but after a while you get the feeling that they could go ten rounds and then walk to Red Robin for a post-fight snack.
I watched this fight with a MMA novice tonight and his exact quote was, “It doesn’t look like they hurt each other.”

What about the rule itself? I think in the grand scheme of things, it’s moronic.
I wish knees to the head of a grounded opponent were legal. It would greatly increase the advantage of working to advance position on the ground.
Oh. The rule itself is stupid as hell but Johnson should know it.
I think the solution is changing the definition of a grounded an opponent.If their knees are on the ground, then they’re grounded, but if you’re standing in a downward dog position? You should be kneed in the face.
They need to change the rule to: You signed a waiver, shut up. Just like porn.
The rule doesn’t work. Almost by definition, the person who is throwing the knees often can’t see where the person’s hands are. Sometimes you can feel changes in pressure or body position, but often enough (as you can see in this fight) the person in the non-dominant position is just resting his figures on the mat to avoid knees.
Doesn’t work.
I mean, if that affects the outcome there’s gotta be a rematch. Not like I would object to one either way.
I’m willing to be the fans in attendance are Hawks fans. Pricks are booing. Not surprising, really.
