Lost in all the excitement of yesterday’s Thanksgiving NFL action that featured an overtime caused by a clusterf*ck and the New England Patriots reinforcing their pro-bullying agenda was the day’s lone college action between the No. 18 Texas Longhorns and the TCU Horned Frogs. TCU, of course, has been having a rather lackluster debut season in the Big 12, with a lousy 3-4 conference record heading into the game. But St. Thanksgiving and the turkey angels must have been looking down on the Frogs from their Mayflower in Valhalla – my grades always sucked in school – because TCU defeated Texas 20-13 to move to 7-4 overall on the season.
Anyway, I won’t bore you with any game details, because all you need to know is in that picture above. Is there anything more fun than when a team’s fans dress in costumes and then their team loses? I’m sure the answer to that is yes – Kate Upton topless, free filet mignons, topless Kate Upton serving free filet mignons, among others – but for the sake of right now, I just want to enjoy this.
But don’t worry, Texas fans. I also have a happy picture for you.

See? There’s a little something for everyone in here.
In related names that drive me nuts news: This game featured former Longhorns QB Colt McCoy’s brother Case filling in for the struggling David Ash, while former Longhorn WR Jordan Shipley’s brother Jaxon led Texas in receiving with 6 catches for 80 yards. Colt and Case McCoy. Jordan and Jaxon Shipley. There’s a boy band waiting to happen right here. Somewhere Simon Cowell is drawing up contracts.

The best part is the TEXAS DAD shirt, which totally now looks like it says TEXAS SAD.
I wear Texas State T-shirts because I went to Texas state. 90% of those people wear UT shirts because they went to Wal-Mart.
Cheer up, whorns, it could be worse. Yall might’ve had to play the best team in Texas last night. It would have been much, much worse had that been the case.
But why would they have been playing the Houston Texans?
Seriously, Sully, A&M loved nothing more than to choke on Thanksgiving. I don’t think we ever beat them while I was attending ol’ TAMU.
That dog picture makes me even more sad because I saw a picture of a dog that looked similar to the one above, still alive and a hook in its mouth and about to be thrown overboard to be used as shark bait.
Thanks a lot Texas fans for making me relive the horrible experience!
