This weekend I’ll be in Los Angeles, California, for WWE’s SummerSlam 2012 pay-per-view, and one of the coolest aspects of that is that I’ll be around at SummerSlam Axxess for THQ’s hands-on experience with/live roster reveal of WWE ’13. For those of you who don’t know, THQ’s WWE series is more or less the Madden of wrestling games, and this year’s edition is set to feature one of the biggest talent rosters ever, including a bunch of guys who were around in the late 90s when you probably watched. For those of you who DO know, yes, I am going to ignore almost everything they tell me to do and just stand in the middle of Axxess making local indy wrestler create-a-wrestlers.
Anyway, here’s the important information: I’ll be tweeting my thoughts and impressions of the game as well as up-to-the-minute roster information (come on, Damien Sandow!) on my personal Twitter account all weekend, so be sure to follow me @MrBrandonStroud.
If you guys have any questions you’d like me to ask the developers, drop them in our comments section here and I’ll try to get them answered. This is going down at Axxess, too, which means I should be within shouting distance of Dolph Ziggler if you want me to scream something to him about his Ass Cape. But no, seriously, the folks at THQ and WWE are awesome to let me take part in this, so let’s make it a big deal.

Will Big Johnny be in the game, and can we get him on his motorized cart? That’s the only question I need answered.
I really hope so. I’m going to ask them about it, and whether or not you can exist wrestlers’ movesets so I can give him an RKO can make him champion.

Will there be multi-woman tag matches? My Universe mode in ’12 is not reaching its full potential w/o six-woman matches on Smackdown.
Also, will they make the title settings in Universe separate from the rest of the game?

With a renewed focus on submission wrestling in the WWE, how have they updated the submission system in WWE ’13?
Also, if I get a Platinum trophy on the PS3, will Kaitlyn come to my house and ask me just what makes Mazinger Z so different from Mazinkaiser?
can we expect the WWE to rip off this game even more than they did with WWE 12? The amount of screen caps and backstage areas they stole from WWE 12 makes me think that we can fully expect a plagarized heel/face/hero road to wrestlemania mode brought to life after WWE 13 comes out and one of the writer beats the game.
It’s been awhile since I’ve played one, but there have been some better than what was actually going on at the time story modes over the years, so I keep hoping for this to happen.
Can you ask them why on earth they don’t have an option to switch the controls to the old AKI engine that everyone loved and still talk about to this day? Or at least something similar?
Will they ever make it so that we can mix/match create new attires for existing superstars? Like when you could edit any superstar in No Mercy. That shit was awesome.
Can they make it possible to create paint tool logos on our computer?
EA Sports uses GameFace where you just take a pic of yourself and they generate a face for you. Can WWE games do this in the future?
Will Ziggler indeed have the asscape? Will his hair be more noodle-like? Will he have rag-doll physics?

Divas storyline in Road To Wrestlemania? People would play it to unlock stuff, and it would make people appreciate the divas more.
Will Khali be in it? Will his speed be a negative number?
Can we have triple threat tag team ladder matches again? I can’t recreate Wrestlemania of 2000 with the Hardy Boyz vs The Dudley Boys vs Edge and Christian and that sucks.

Can the Kane mask in create-a-wrestler be an actual full mask as opposed to a lame excuse for face paint?
Best part about this game is the fact that you create wrestlers and then upload them so that other people can download them. Brandon, please make a wrestler that looks like you but with maxed-out Cena stats and I will totally download that and crush the WWE universe with it like God-fucking-zilla.
