In case you missed it last week, we’re solving the “how can I do a Best And Worst Of WWE Smackdown report when With Leather doesn’t update on Saturdays” problem with a weekly live-blog of the show hosted by yours truly and Destiny, and probably LastTexansFan if he keeps beating me over the head with how funny he is in the comments every five seconds.
Our first attempt went pretty well, and we’re hoping to build on that this week. If you’ve read the spoilers (or been forced to skim over them as lightly as possible like I was) you’ll know what an emotional roller coaster we’re on tonight, so I’ll need you and as many people as you know to keep me from having a nervous breakdown. The live-blog starts tonight at 8 PM EST and will feature a 15-minute-or-so pre-show where I try to figure out how to use Cover It Live. The only thing I ever used it for at FanHouse was live-blogging Indians games, and even I didn’t read those.
After the jump you can set up a reminder for the event.

:::: we’re solving the “how can I do a Best And Worst Of WWE Smackdown report when With Leather doesn’t update on Saturdays”::::
Now, I’m not an educated man, and I don’t claim to know too much about too many things. I never went to college, and got through high school on a wing and a prayer, and a lot of cheap beer.
It seems to me, simple as I am, that the solution to doing a Best/Worst of Smackdown when the site doesn’t update on weekends…and admittedly this is kind of an out-there, are-you-crazy-enough-to-even-think-about-trying-it idea….would be to post it on Mondays, when the site resumes updating.
I know, I know, it wouldn’t be “next day fresh”, but I think it would keep. Let me know if I’m just thinking too far outside that box though.
And in seriousness, love the Best/Worst of Raw, it’s the highlight of my Tuesdays.
@Belly Billboard – I’ve thought about doing that, but it gets interrupted by PPV Best and Worsts that have to go up on Monday. Plus, the content would keep, but the traffic would die.
@Brandon – See? Told you I wasn’t smart.
I expect an abundance of fresh WWE ’12 related jokes.
I rather we just continue on with these Live Blogs. Provides more Brandon-to-followers-of-his-cult interaction. Plus, come on. It’s hilarious and fun.
THESTINGER’S wife is sick so he is watching Smackdown “live”. If after the first twenty minutes the show is nothing but a “Where are they know?” of the tragic people from The Backyard it would still end up being many times Best than Raw.
I learn so much from Brandon that I feel like I owe him tuition or something.
So do we need gold stars to show up in the liveblog?
I quit watching Charlie Brown with my family and put off the Muppet Movie till tomorrow so that I could be a part of this live blog. I have no regrets.
This is a lot of fun. Get Burnsy to cohost sometime.
This was good, I had fun, keep doing it. Etc… I hope you get what you want for Christmas Destiny.
That was some awesome live-blogging RIGHT THERE, WHOA!
Another great live blog guys
I enjoy the live blog. Whoever said that the cult gets more interaction with Brandon? Yeah, I agree. I even told someone when he tweeted @writin_impaired.
Whoever reads this tomorrow won’t understand nor appreciate the GOOTNESS of the chocolate wonderfall.
Sorry I missed this live, but I will say that Ted DiBiase v Jinder Mihal is the undercardiest undercard feud that ever undercarded.
I personally like Bryan’s suicide push. Basically I enjoy anything that means he might not die while flinging his body outside.
I don’t get the chocolste wonderfall adverts. Clearly I’m missing out.
I didn’t get to watch this on Friday because I was doing the family Turkey Day thing at my folks’ for the last couple of days so I just watched it today. Other than AJ getting a decent amount of air time, my favorite part of the show was Ted DiBiase harnessing the power of the ‘stache, even if it was a cheesy as hell ‘stache.
I wish I had been here for this. Fannnnntastic
Live blog on Tuesday. I just read this and kept building on jokes in my head before realizing you weren’t there to be like “yeah and then Chavo is like UNCLE EDDIE I THINK YOU ARE ADDICTED TO DRUGS, VATO,” or whatever.
Watching Smackdown on DVR and following along is almost as fun as the real thing.
wish I didn’t miss out!
Good job gang
