The St. Louis Rams came out firing in the 1st quarter of last night’s Monday Night Football matchup with the New York Giants, and everything looked promising for the young Rams playing without their running back Steven Jackson and receiver Danny Amendola. What looked like a certain touchdown, as the Rams marched into the red zone with their no huddle offense, soon became a terrible display of amateur hour by Giants defenders Jacquian Williams and Deon Grant, who both flopped and faked injuries to stop the clock.
To be fair, Williams and Grant fell to the ground at the same time, and Williams immediately jumped back up once he realized that Grant had sold his ailment with Oscar-winning precision. Then the Giants held the Rams to just a field goal and a strange tempo was set for the rest of the game. Who says that life is fair?

That is one of the saddest “sports” plays I’ve ever seen. what a joke.
If wish the refs had balls and didn’t grant them a stoppage. Would have been fun to see those twats on the ground get trampled on the ensuing play.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. It’s starting to happen on a more frequent basis. Shouldn’t the ‘brothas’ of these players be calling them bitches, or something like that for such a cowardly act?
Goodell should fine the coaches and players pulling this kind of crap. Get it out of the game. They didn’t even make it look real.
If I recall, I think Tom Brady accused the Chargers of this, too, Sunday. I believe he actually stood over the trainers looking at the downed SD defenseman.
This isnt new at all. This started in college for teams who had to play Oregon. The other teams would fake injuries to slow down the no-huddle offense. The Chargers definitely did it on Sunday, and TBrady called them out like the little bitches they are.
Saying this game was full of dipshits would be insult shit in general.
