Noted NBA Mom and alleged Delonte West plaything Gloria James was arrested after an altercation with a valet parking attendant. The mother of Miami Heat star LeBron James attempted to leave the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach when the ruckus commenced.
According to Miami Beach police Det. Juan Sanchez, Gloria James was taken into custody early Thursday morning at the Fontainebleau Hotel on Miami Beach. She has not been charged but Det. Sanchez says she’ll most likely face a misdemeanor assault charge.
This is not the first time that James’ mother has been in trouble with the law. She also was arrested in 2006 in Ohio on a DUI charge.
Whatever. I might be the only person in Ohio that never got a DUI. What else are you supposed to do in Ohio? Anyway, James was released earlier this morning, perhaps so that she could find a jail in an even warmer climate with two of her friends from the Olympics. Somebody call Jim Gray.
