Taiwanese-Animatied ‘NFL Lockout’

Sports news is weird because so often we love seeing things that we already know are going to happen. Such is the case with these New Media Animation clips, whose latest includes a riff on the NFL lockout. I disagree with the sentiment that the “millionaire” players don’t need to get second jobs. If one’s earning potential was guaranteed to be wiped out by age 40, being considered overpaid is a bit of a misnomer.

Earning potential wiped out by age 40? Unable to play football, yes, often. Unable to make a living, no. Football players can, indeed earn money without being on the field. I give that comment two dismissive wanking motions and a cumfetti.
