Adam Schefter just confirmed that the Tennessee Titans have “won” the Randy Moss sweepstakes. Jeff Fisher’s club will be on the hook for the Moss’s remaining salary of $3 million and change, and Titans quarterback Vince Young has a new buddy to hang out with at those shirtless clubs.
It’s a win for Tennessee, who get a nice lease on a complement to their own wideout in replacement for Kenny Britt, who needs one in a race for the AFC South where the Colts are actually vulnerable. The bizarreness of it all, I guess, is that Tennessee was 22nd in line in the waiver order, and that Moss fell that far. I was silly to think that Moss had a prayer at landing in Cincinnati; they have plenty of depth at troublemaker.

If Pacman Jones taught me anything, it’s that it is easy to behave in Tennessee.
