Eric Mangini has never met a quarterback situation he hasn’t wanted to muddle. Following QB Seneca Wallace’s high ankle sprain and Jake Delhomme re-aggravating his high ankle sprain, the Cleveland Browns have signed former backup Brett Ratliff from the Patriots practice squad. Cleveland will most likely start rookie Colt McCoy on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. During training camp, there was legitimate concern that McCoy wouldn’t even make the final roster. Now he makes his NFL debut on the road against one of the best and most feared defenses in the league.
The viewing will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, October 17th at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. Condolences and flower arrangements can be sent to Cleveland Browns Stadium, 1085 W Third St., Cleveland, OH 44114.

“Condolences and flower arrangements can be sent to Cleveland Browns Stadium, 1085 W Third St., Cleveland, OH 44114.”
Is that because of the QB situation or just because it’s Cleveland, in general?
I’m sure Colt’s dad will protect him from this big bad Pittsburgh Steelers1
“Legitimate concern that McCoy would not make the final roster” was a bunch of bullshit, he wasn’t going to play anyway and this was supposed to be a redshirt season.
Still, as a Browns fan, I do not want to see this kid go out there and get drilled like Shawshenk by the Pittsburgh D. Why can’t we use Ratcliff and get Cribbs running the Flash package?
I like to horse around with the fellas as much as the next guy. That said, who’d you fellas rather tit-fuck-Mangini or Holmgren?
@Joe Buck: Holmgren now or 1994?
Colt McCoy gonna get raped.
Rodney King thinks this game might be a bit strong to show on television.
As a Steeler fan I look forward to watching Colt McCoy get the shit kicked out of him by the Steelers D. As someone going against the Steelers D in fantasy football this week, I’m scared.
I know McCoy’s going to get murdered, but, I think it’d be pretty awesome if McCoy lit it up against Pittsburgh.
He is listed as the 3rd QB on the roster. Both #1 and #2 are hurt. He is paid to play. Let him play. I am more worried about our shitty receivers than QB.
BTW ya all see Braylons 2 MAJOR drops last night? douche.
“During training camp, there was legitimate concern that McCoy wouldn’t even make the final roster.”
Fine if you want to make fun of the Browns, but do you really have to tell lies about “legitimate concern” to do it?
