The NFL has announced that they’ll be selling their famous Sunday Ticket package over the internet. This package, previously only available on DirecTV, will carry every game not being shown on broadcast television on your computer, whether you have DirecTV or not. But if you’ve already spiked your mouse and done a little dance in your cubicle, you might want to sit back down.
The bad news is that the package costs a whopping $350, which is the same amount that DirecTV subscribers will pay for access to the NFL package on their TV and via broadband. –NewTeeVee.
It’s still good news, especially since I can’t hook up a dish in my apartment. I CAN, however, run an S-video cable from my laptop to my TV and watch those games on my television now. I don’t really have a joke for this, so here’s a guy dressed like Hulk Hogan beating up Buffalo Bills fans:
Thanks, Brent, for the vid..

I will only pay that kind of money to see what games Punte is watching…which is apparently zero tonight.
Hope the S-video cable was a joke. No HD? No audio over teh same cable? Your laptop most likely has a DVI port. Get a HDMI/DVI adapter for $2 and a 20 foot HDMI cable for $15. Monoprice is your friend.

$350 a month? I payed $100 bucks for MLB.TV and I can get Sunday Ticket here in Canuckistan for 30 dollars a month. That anti-trust exemption for the NFL sure looks even more idiotic.
Oh, and every cable provider has Sunday Ticket up here.
@ JCSoup- It’s $350 total. $10 cheaper than your $30/month. Who’s the sucker now?
@JHC – Last time I checked the NFL season wasn’t 12 months long. A girl can dream though.
