From the Desk Of Philly Being Philly: A man attending a Philadelphia Eagles practice earlier this morning was asked to remove a Donovan McNabb Redskins jersey that he was wearing. McNabb, who was traded to the Redskins in April, has long been a polarizing figure in discussions of the Eagles. Some have blamed the Syracuse product for the team’s postseason shortcomings, while others have questioned the lack of respect that he gets from the national media.
The fan said the security guard told him Andy Reid took notice when asking him to remove the jersey.
The fan, Jim Devlin, did not put up a fight when asked to take the jersey off, nor was he escorted from the practice field. Devlin said he wore the same jersey at the Phillies game the other night. He does it to make a statement about the Eagles’ decision to move on from McNabb and to get reactions out of people. –Philly Sports Daily; thanks, Jason.
This would probably be the nice start of a rant about how sports lends itself to fascism, but that’s all trumped by a dipsh*t on the sidelines of an Eagles practice wearing the jersey of a NFC East division rival. I wish more people reacted this way to those damn Che Guevara t-shirts. I just hope that this isn’t evidence of Philly fans getting soft; they’re at their best when they threaten the opposition with violence. They’re like America’s own little Bolivia, but with more burning cars.

Two people at Skins camp were wearing Rex Grossman Bears jerseys. No one minded and after practice, they were taken back to the retard home.
I wish more people punched Che shirt wearing a-holes in the face and then sent them to a gulag similar to the ones Guevara set up in Cuba.
/end rant
I loved when Jay-Z wore a huge Che shirt during one of his concerts. If you asked him he’d probably say “Yea, Che Guava, that Spanish guy.”
Yeah Jay-Z, as far as I can tell is a capitalist, wearing a Che shirt makes a lot of sense. F’ing dumb ass.
“Some have blamed the Syracuse product for the team’s postseason shortcomings”
This SU product blames SU co-eds for his shortcomings.
The eagles haven’t lost their heart that’s for damned sure. Went to the eagles cowboys game in Phili last year. Needless to say, I was not the most popular person after the Eagles managed to do little or nothing at all. Threats of violence and I think a few of sodomy were prevalent.
