Some people are wondering why the other faculty in the room didn’t rush to the boy’s aid. Could it be because he might have had it coming?
Tonight. Flyers +125 over BRUINS. Philly has all the momentum here, having won three straight after falling behind 3-0 early in the series. Besides, we can’t have another Boston team advancing.
BREWERS -1.5 over Phillies. The Phillies are wearing throwback road unis this weekend, and they also send a throwback player to the mound tonight in 64-year-old Jamie Moyer, who has been slapped around of late…uh, besides that complete game he threw in his last outing…
Saturday: Lookin at Lucky (+300) over FIELD. The Preakness is this weekend in Baltimore. I understand that it’s some kind of horse race.
Vigalantes +5.5 over SHARKS. It’s my token obscure football bet of the weekend. Welcome back, Arena Football.
Sunday. Celtics +6 over MAGIC. After Boston took care of the Cavs, they bring momentum into the Eastern Conference final, but Orlando do as well. Look for a close game, and take the points.

Not sure that becoming the oldest player to ever throw a complete-game shutout qualifies as getting slapped around, but maybe you were referring to Moyer’s earlier work this season.

the other side of the coin is that this incident occured in one of the more infamous charter schools in Houston, where “at risk” students are wharehoused…meaning they can’t attend regular schools either because of learning disabilities or the fact that other students are “at risk” because they are in close proximity to these little bastards…i don’t blame the teacher at all, hell I snapped and grabbed an older version of this type of punkass when I was in the Navy when he mouthed off at me…I blame this kids parents, because it’s convenient to blame the school and then, the legal system when the parent can’t control this little bastard but you can’t blame the military when this punkass get sent to stop a bullet in some shithole country and it won’t be soon enough…
That teacher’s jiu-jitsu sucked. When the kid turtled he left himself wide open to a bunch of subs.
