Tiger Woods could return to the PGA Tour as soon as this month. One report has Tiger, with swing coach and high-powered publicist in tow, packing his red shirt for the Bay Hill Invitational, which begins in 11 days.

Two sources in the golf community have told The Post that Ari Fleischer, the former presidential advisor to George W. Bush and the man who was brought in to help repair the steroid-shattered image of Mark McGwire, has been huddling with Woods, plotting a strategy for his return to golf — at the Arnold Palmer Invitational starting March 25 at Bay Hill in Orlando, Fla.
“They were in his living room this week going over a strategy for how to handle Bay Hill in two weeks,” one source told The [NY] Post.

I’ve said before that the real road to rehab for Tiger won’t start until he gets back out onto the golf course. Because he could be banging half of New Jersey as long as he’s winning golf tournaments. That space at the top of the PGA leaderboards is prime real estate, and that’s what Tiger delivers for his marketing parters and his fans. Oh, and the anonymous women that he was banging. Can’t forget about them.

UPDATE: MSNBC is reporting that Tiger will be out until the Masters, but he still has until next Friday to commit to Bay Hill. So many tournaments, so little time…
