This is the beautifully named coach of minor league hockey’s Abbotsford Heat, Jim Playfair, and you’re about to watch him lose his mind. This video is still making the rounds, and now you can also enjoy it here. Roll to the 2:50-ish mark of the video after the jump, and then watch the best reason to never be an ice hockey referee. Or a composite hockey stick. I like the wooden sticks better, personally. It’s hard to play when it feels like you’re carrying around a curtain rod.
as seen on Bob’s Blitz, via Everyone.
Oh, by the way, I’m still giving away this Easton S19 helmet. It’s black, sized medium, and lighter than a cup of coffee. Details to come.

And lately he’s been overheard in Playfair
He’s not PLAYing so FAIR anymore is he? HAHAHAHA I’m punny
Dude, minor league hockey games are not that important.
Was that a fucking Nickelback song in the intro? Now I want to break a hockey stick over something.
That’s it? “Raar I can break a stick! Raaar I broke another one! Look out, I’m aaaangry!” I was expecting him to run out on the ice and start beating the referee over the head. What a gip.
I like how the players on the left are all stoic and nonchalant during the tirade and the ones on the right have to hold their gloves over their mouths to hide the grins.
I don’t see Watt the big problem is.
He missed the referee by like a hundred feet.
