SUPER BOWL XLVIII TO…NEW JERSEY?
02.26.10The new NFL stadium in the Meadowlands of New Jersey, which will serve as home to both the Jets and the Giants beginning this fall, is the favored site among football owners for the Super Bowl in 2014.
The idea of hosting a game at the new, open-air Giants/Jets complex at the Meadowlands picked up steam earlier this year when the owners waived the game’s weather requirement.
Commissioner Roger Goodell also publicly praised the concept of a New York Super Bowl during the run-up to this year’s game. –NYPost.
That works for me. But what about the snow? No, I WANT it to snow there. Who wouldn’t love to see a Super Bowl in the snow? Besides the people that are actually there…and nobody cares about them anyway. Everyone knows that the only place to watch that game is in front of a friend’s large TV. Or in an ampitheater in Las Vegas. Either way.

Midwest Girthquake, you’re aware that this stadium is within a Peyton Manning interception of New York city, right? “There aren’t going to be any celebrities.” Hilarious
A snowy Super Bowl would be great. Here’s hoping the Colts face the Giants and Peyton cements his legacy as a choker.
Well, at least the NFL won’t have to worry about a team playing in it’s home stadium for the Super Bowl.
As soon as the NFL loses 1 dime from the fact cold weather doesn’t attract as much industry (sponsorship supporting trades, celebrities, etc.) that policy will vanish faster than Jimmy Hoffa’s remains in that banner pic.
“I got your Super Bowl right here”
/points to crotch
This will be the greatest thing to happen in NJ since The Jersey Shore.
