SCOTT VAN PELT GOT VAN PRANKED…ZING?
02.24.10Scott Van Pelt might be my favorite SportsCenter anchor, which is a lot like a 9-year-old picking out his favorite vegetable (and probably just as mature). But it was still humorous to see him endure a prank call from someone pretending to be the recently-cut running back Brian Westbrook. But in These Trying Economic Times, who’s willing to pull off such colossal (if not entirely funny) pwnage for free? Better question: Why does SportsCenter even take incoming phone calls? The same thing happened to Dan Patrick in 2003. You’d think they’d just let those roll over to voicemail.

Does anyone even watch ESPN anymore?
BABA BOOEY! BABA BOOEY! BABA BOOEY!
@karl- Everyone, actually.
At least levy’s earpiece doesn’t fall out at the end….
I actually heard this live last night and didn’t realize what had happened until I read it on here.
/weed is one hell of a drug
Actual sports event – sure I’ll watch. Everything else? Pass.
Who knows, Westbrook’s next employer might actually be Stern.
Oh my God did you see Steve Levy’s ear-monitor fall out after the phone call? Haha, total pwnage.
Does anyone even listen to Howard Stern anymore?
Cut off before he went after Steve Langford’s mom.
TSM -yes.
