Professional wrestlers Chris Jericho (real name: Chris Irvine) and Gregory Helms (aka WWE’s “Hurricane”) were arrested in Kenton County, Kentucky for…if I can read the card here…”alcohol intoxication in a public place.”
Police arrested the pair at a gas station in Erlanger at 5 a.m. Thursday morning. Officials have not indicated if a vehicle was involved in the arrest, so they have only been charged with public intoxication, according to the station.
They were released on $120 bail. –Birmingham News.
Helms had been active on the ECW circuit, according to Wikipedia, as recently as last November, whereas Jericho was on WWE’s RAW two weeks ago. But when the hell was public intoxication made illegal in Kentucky? I thought that was a prerequisite. UPDATE: Apparently they were out smacking people. Jeez, Kentucky. It’s like I don’t even know you anymore.
