American Scottish tennis “star” Andy Murray recently broke up with his girlfriend of almost four years over video games. Sources close to the ex, the relatively un-notable Kim Sears, said that Murray was too busy playing video games to appreciate her.
Brad Gilbert, Murray’s former coach, has said in the past that Murray spends “seven hours a day” playing video games.
“[He] would spend all his time glued to them. In the end she just got fed up with it. She wanted more out of the relationship.”
However, the player’s agent [said] that Murray “doesn’t play computer games any more than any other 22 year-old”. –Telegraph, as seen on First Cuts.
Is now a bad time to sing the praises of the forgotten Playstation 2? The games are still good, but cheaper now. And if you don’t own an HDTV, they look and play just as well. Of course, my mother would give me the same speech before every dinner of hamburgers on white bread. Getting older can be so depressing sometimes. I’ll feel better after I beat up some hookers in a quick game of “Grand Theft Auto.” And by quick, I mean like “the rest of the day.” Not really. Maybe.

The warhawk grenade is a relationship killer.
Geez Punte, just break down and buy a new system already. You won’t regret it.
In the words of another great Biggie: “Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, when I was dead broke, man, I couldn’t picture this”…but let’s leave those back in 1995 where they belong.
/picks up his wireless XBox360 controller and unpauses Modern Warefare 2, begins shooting Russians in glorious 1080p
I have a win/win solution…Buy a DLP projector and project them on her forehead.
Settle down, nerds. He’s Scottish (not American). ‘Nuff said.
