I was thinking Dear God what will it take for Mike Bell to be put into short yardage goal-line situations, and the unlikelyhood of that happening if it goes into OT.

The big difference though is that with football the game is never going to be five hours plus. It is 60 min. and that’s it. A baseball game can be three hours or five and a half. It doesn’t help when idiot catchers come out to the mound every time a pitcher gets behind in the count. Here’s looking at you Posada/Molina.

To me, the absolute worst is the end of basketball games when a team has no real shot and starts fouling. “I have had some long nights in stir. Alone in the dark with nothing but your thoughts, time can draw out like a blade…”
