Regardless of whether Carroll is a hypocritical douchebag or not(of course he is) doesn’t change this one simple fact: If UCLA doesn’t call a time out the game ends 21-7. Period. Neuheisel didn’t want the game to end for some stupid fucking reason, but at least he didn’t cry about it afterward when he realized he fucked up.

Bullshit, all you SC bandwagoners need to shut the fuck up. The OP is right on the money with this post. Carroll is nothing more than a hypocritical classless prick and the end of that game proves it. If you think that because Neuheisel called a time out justifies going for the extra TD with a 14 point lead and 54 seconds left in the game, then I feel really sorry for you. Did Carroll have the right to do it? Of course. Was it a hypocritical thing to do after crying about the Stanford game? Without a doubt. He easily could have run the ball or gone for a short pass to get the 1st down, then the timeouts wouldn’t mean shit. But thats not why I think USC and Carroll are a bunch of classless pricks. It was the unsportsman like taunting after they went for the unnecessary TD that really put me over the edge. Neither teams played a good game in the end, but SC especially has nothing to brag about with the way they played throughout the game. Fuck USC, they are nothing but a bunch of lowlife classless pricks and now we can add vandals to it as well.

No, you’re the douchebag punter. Yes in the blockquote it vaguely explained what happened, but you didn’t give any of that context before you accused USC of running up the score because they’ve had a disappointing year. You made it sound like out of nowhere they just shit on an innocent UCLA team trying to get the game over as quickly as possible. How do you explain UCLA calling a timeout at that point in the game? Anyone who’s played sports knows that if you do something gay like UCLA did by trying to pretend the game wasn’t finished, you have to be ready for what USC did, which was finish the game that UCLA tried to keep alive!
You cross a line when you threaten commenters like that. GregN criticized your post, which is what you do to athletes and coaches every day when you heap your hateful thoughts on them. It’s so obvious you’re a petty hateful child acting out trying to be one of the grownups. God knows why Unsilent, BDD and Caveman let you tag along for the ride.

Punte, What you know about this story (and sports in general) could fit in a thimble. #1- it wasn’t USC’s last game (they play Arizona on Saturday). #2- USC started the final series by doing the right thing and taking a knee (you are slow, so…that means they were going to run the clock out without trying to score again)…BUT, the UCLA coach decided to be a jerk and use the rest of his time outs, even thought the game was unwinable. SO, all Pete Carroll did was agreed to play the full game…just as UCLA wanted. It just so happens…they scored again. Oops! You see, I actually watched the game…unlike you.
