Tedy Bruschi wrote in ESPNBoston today that it was a huge diss to the defense for Belichick not to trust them, and Trent Dilfer did too. First of all, fuck Trent Dilfer. Second of all, Leigh Bodden was doing fine all night until he fucking overran a simple slant by Pierre Garcon to give him a very easy touchdown. And don’t forget the Laurence Maroney fumble in the end zone and the Tom Brady INT to Randy Moss in double coverage in the end zone too. That decision to go for it on 4th and 2 was not why the Patriots lost, but it sure seems like it.
