10.22.09 NLCS: TBS BOOED, BRETT MYERS DENIED
The Phillies won their second straight NL pennant last night, beating the Dodgers for a 4 games to one victory in the NLCS. They’re the first team to repeat as league champs since the Cincinnati Reds Braves did it back in 1975-76 1995-96. Here to mark the occasion is Ernie Johnson, who gets booed upon mentioning that he works for TBS. TBS SUCKS! GO BACK TO ATLANTA, SISSY! After the jump is noted wife-puncher Brett Myers, who gets a veritable retaliation from the missus.

Punte, I hate to be that guy, and I’m not trying to be a dick, but the Atlanta Braves were back-to-back NLCS champs in ‘95 and ‘96.

TBS was annoying with its technical difficulties both last year (Steve Harvey) and this year (sound going out) but it’s still better than listening to Buck and McCarver.
Besides the Braves in 95 and 96, there were the Braves in 91 and 92 and the Dodgers in 77 and 78. Somebody didn’t factcheck this thing.
Taco, I strenuously disagree. Don’t get me wrong, Buck and McCarver are awful, but they do not compare to the shittiness of Chip and Darling.
They booed because TBS gave us 2 midday games and a goddamm 10pm game. F them.
