09.15.09 THE FIRST 8 MINS OF NEW ‘ULTIMATE FIGHTER’

‘The Ultimate Fighter’ is one of the things that I absolutely love about MMA. It points to the fact that the sport realizes showcasing the flaws of its athletes makes for better interest than these team sport athletes whose images have been scrubbed clean by the leagues, PR groups, and enterprising media. MMA, if I could coin a phrase, keeps it real. And here’s the first eight minutes of the premiere of UFC’s prime-time centerpiece, now with the over-hyped Kimbo Slice. The premiere airs tomorrow on SPIKE, and it’s gonna be awesome. I could just knock over a convenience store and scream racial epiteths just thinking about it. via.
